Nick turned his broom sharply as he heard Aminia's call, he turned his head to Hafiz who was still in the goals "You heard her Haf, lets pull it in." Nick flew up to the group huddle, stopping perfectly next to Aminia.

Jennifer had just arrived in time. She mounted her slow cleansweep 11 and flew up to Ami's side. As she was flying she saw Ne'os and gave him an evil look, but thought it best to leave that matter alone while out practicing. "Hey everyone, sorry I'm late." She said to them, waiting for Ami to say to start.

Ami rolled her eyes at Ne'os' showing of as place the bat in her lap and scratched the back of her head nervously, "I'm not that great with pep talks, so all I have to say, is this year we have a great team! Our first match is against the Gryffindors, and I think we are good enough to beat them. So, lets do a practices game."

Alright, it was Jennifers first practice and she was already about to play one of the games. Althought this made her think about what the actual first game was going to feel like. She looked over at all the other team members and saw that some of them were as happy about it as she was. And then she saw how bored Ne'os looked, she thought to herself, 'figures he would act like that'. She then got into possition ready to start the game.

Albus saw Jennifer come to the pitch, now the whole team was there. "Yeah sure Aminia, we'll beat them," Albus said confidently.

Aminia smiled, "Okay so everyone knows what their job is so lets get out there and start." She seen something brown speeding in their direction, she grabbed the bat in her right hand and sped towards it, as soon as she was close enough she hit the bludger, "Alright lets go!"

Selwyn was confused. As everyone else darted off into positions, he had no idea which part of the stadium he should be hovering at. Aminia hadn't split them into teams, she hadn't welcomed the newbs, she'd just assumed everyone would know what was going on. And what was worse, everyone else did.

Maybe having a broom like a lame donkey was a good thing after all. He could blame his hesitation on his inadequate transportation.

Nick listened to Aminia’s less than impressive speech with a smile upon his face. He did not want too be rude and so did not embarrass her in front of the team. Listening quietly he allowed his mind to wander slightly. This years team was indeed pretty good, they had a chance but then again so did everyone. Gryfidor would be a tough first match, why couldn’t they have drawn a crap team, like Hufflepuff. Those idiots were a bunch of losers, a win to kick of the campaign would have really helped team morale. There was no point brooding though. When his attention did return to the group the huddle broke and everyone except one of his fellow chasers darted off. What the? Turning around sharply he headed towards Aminia shouting “How can we have a practice game with only seven players? What are the teams then?”
