Abbey sat back down on the bed as she listened to Christy and Godric's exchange. She played with a strand of her hair, twirling it around in her fingers. Abbey hated Matt Lestrange with all of her being, so she tried to block out the conversation about him.

"I don't know..." he said with a dark frown. "I don't like the feel of this." he looked at his cousin again. "I hope he isn't dead yet, I still have some unfinished business..." he trailed off but his voice sounded lighthearted. "And what about my Muggle Studdies class?" He made sure the laugh in his voice told both of them he was just joking.

"No, I'm pretty sure he is." she replied, trying to think of a way to change the subject, "Well I'm not exactly qualified enough to teach the class, I'm just the teaching assistant for the class. And I know good and damn well that you won't listen to me if they want me to sub for it til they find a replacement." she said laughing, "So Abbey just took a look at her closet a few minutes ago." she said looking at Delk, "I think she was surprised at the size and the brand new wardrobe in side of it."

Delk laughed again. He was starting to see the brighter side of things again. He wondered if his cousin had noticed his spiral down into darkness. Oh well, better not worry her. He thought to himself. "So, do you like snakes?" he asked Abby since the poor girl had been staring at Gift a while back.

Abbey looked up. "Oh, I like pretty much any type of animal. They're all fascinating to me." Abbey said, a smile on her face.

"Well Gift is a animal.." Christy started to say, "That I wouldn't get exactly get too close to especially with out him around." she said trying to laugh a little. "He still has his fangs and poison glands."

Abbey nodded. "My dad had a snake a long time ago. We got rid of it when it bit me." she said. "He was a rainbow python. Usually quite nice unless you wake-up him, which is exactly what I did." Abbey said, laughing.

Godric smilled. "Gift is only asleep if I am. As soon as I wake up so does he." Godric was laughing full out. "But I'm more a danger to wake up then Gift." He jumped onto an empty spot on the bed and lounged with one hand and arm propping up his head. "So, do you prefer Muggle cloths or wizidaring wear?"

"When was the last time I held Gift?" she asked wondering out loud curiously. She looked at Delk curiously, "You've never been that hard for me to wake up." she said grinning. "So we all know I like muggle clothes more."

"I was asking her." he said with a nod to Abby. "I know what you prefer. I think it was bout a year or two ago." he said looking up at nothing in particular. There was a strange sound in his room. "Christy, Where is Kallie?" His voice sounded tense. The cat they had found was just a house pet nothing more, but it still wasn't a good idea for Gift to be locked in a room with her.
