OWL Class- 1

((Sorry, James Wake here- I wasn't sure if I could still keep going with Shacklebolt, so I decided to fill in for a little longer))

The OWL class? for all of the... older students? Personally, Shackey detested the mature students of Hogwarts- they were too proud of their minimal accomplishments, too easy to please. They asked for too much, and gave too little in return. How could he teach the unteachable? Little brats barely listened at all.
But the art of teaching was in hiding one's own opinions to act as a mentor, a helping hand. Not all of the OWL students were bad, no. Most of them, however, thought of the professional Care of Magical Creatures as a joke.

"Good morning, class," he sang as he whipped his wand towards the board. His name was etched into the black board, "Professor Shacklebolt."
"I believe that not everybody is here, so how about we talk while we wait?"

If the OWL students were ignorant, then they were at least entertaining.

"Good afternoon Professor Shacklebolt," James quipped lively as the professor leaned towards him. "I just started school this year, so I'm not sure if you'd relate to my predicament. I am James Wake, from Durmstrang." It was ironic that the one teacher he knew was teaching the weakest of subjects. Animals? Humans were twice as dangerous as any unicorn.

Jacob entered his class, for the first time not late. It was headmaster shacklebolt, who knew what he'd do if you were late. "Morning sir, Jacob Blaque present" Jacob grinned at him and took a seat and took out the right equipment for this class and waited.

"Present and accounted for!" the headmaster exclaimed, marking both boys down. "Who else might be coming today, hm?"

Hafiz entered the class. He went to the Professor "Morning Professor. Am I late?" as he went to his seat and sat there alone.

Frazier strolled in, confident that he was on time.
"Morning professor, I'm Frazier." he held out his hand, as the professor looked friendly enough to do that to.

Louis walked in. "hello professor"he said cheery. He took a seat and pulled out some paper and quills.

"Very, well the students here are now on time. Now then, let's begin class shall we?"

"First things first: your new books are just as wonderful as your old ones- except they don't bite." Shacklebolt sounded particularly dissappointed by this facted. "Today we will cover a most fascinating subject: Merpeople. For this class, we will not be leaving the designated classroom, but please be aware that you must be extremely repectful when dealing with REAL merpeople. Now, who knows anything about the Merpeople living on our own lake?"

Hafiz raised his hand.

The headmaster looked around, then decided to ask the Slytherin. "Yes hafiz?" he asked.
