First OWL Class

Bonnie straightened her face. She didn't have lot's of children expirience, and she had to admit to herself, she was a little nervous. But she gathered up the tiny bit of courage she required and tried to look stern.
"Listen up." she got their attention.
"We'll just start with opening up your books. The first page please." she said. She turned to write her name (magically of course) on the brand new chalkboard.

James was attentive the whole time. It was his job to pay attention, his job to listen and learn. He was a student. Unfortunately, that meant following all the orders. He obediantly oopened the History of Magic textbook he'd bought at the beginning of summer. It was already highlighted, and dog-eared, a product of his studious habits.

Bonnie stared around. Apparently no one but Mr. Wake was going to come.
"Ahem, well I'll take five points from each of them when they come in for lateness." she coughed.
"Anyhow, we might as well start. Today we will be discussing the founders of Hogwarts. You sir may choose the founder." she thought she was being strangly nice, but she let him have the chance to talk.

"Am I late"Louis asked running in.
"I was distracted"

Bonnie sighed.
"Mister Weasley, glad you could finally come. "she smiled.
"We are discussing the founders, or are about to anyways. Which one would you like to discuss first? Of course it's up to you and Mister Wake."

Cosette walked in, hearing that points were taken from those who were late. "I'm so terribly sorry." Cosette frowned. "My other classes are on the other side of the school." She frowned, knowing points would be taken.

((OOC: Only one comment: I was not home when you started the topic, so how is it fair that you take points? School = no computer. ))

Bonnie sighed, then recognized her.
"Well, seeing the circumstances..." she sighed.
"But you can be involvedin the vote, which founder would you like to choose?"

5 points? That's a bit unfair, but nothing you can do about it. James turned to each student and nodded. "I choose... Godric Gryffindor." That was the safest choice- and probably the cruelest to those that would miss the lesson. Only two of the founders elicited any stifling response: Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor. Given Slytherin's more... infamous graduates, Godric Gryffindor would be the founder the most students would be interested in. Nobody in Hufflepuff would want to hear about the ambitious Slytherin who threw caution to the wind and went as far human torture for the advancement of the Wizard ways. Godric Gryffindor was remembered as the samaritan. Only fitting.

Lily ran to the classroom and sighed when she saw the door was closed, which meant the class has already started. I have got to stop being late to classes thought Lily and knocked on the door. "Sorry for being late professor. I...forgot the time" said Lily quickly and took a seat. That wasn't really the truth but it was certainly better than the truth.

"Ahem, that is fine Miss Potter, just try to carry a clock in the future." she smiled, remembering her old favorite teacher Professor McGonagal.
"Today we will be discussing, erm..." she thought...
"As Mister Wake has chosen, we will be discussing Godric Gryffindor. Does anyone have any questions before I start?"
