Herbology Class 1

Adebola entered the Greenhouse with a frown. She was happy the term started, but still dissapointed the summer ended. She worte on the board :

After she wrote that on the board she flicked her wand. It rearranged the table to make it look like they were taking exams.
Adebola sat down at the table waiting for students to come in.

You what now? It's herbology! Selwyn expected to play around in some dirt today, grapple with an oversize bush while trying to re-pot it, and then walk out of the greenhouse smelling like dragon dung. Same old, same old.

Sooooo, what was the deal with the quills and ink? That was not part of any herbology curriculum Selwyn Thorfin had ever seen. Because Selwyn Thorfin had never seen any herbology curriculums. Nevertheless, he was used to this subject being a walk in the park, both literally and metaphorically. Now was not the time to spring pop quizzes on the poor boy!

"Hi Professor Adeagbo!" he exclaimed as he entered the greenhouse. "Have I ever told you you're my favourite teacher? Well, you are."

"What're we doing today? Playing with the venemous tentacular, I hope?"

Abbey was quite excited for herbology. It had always been one of her favorite subjects, due to the fact that she loved to heal others and liked learning about all the different plants that could help cure someone. She walked into the greenhouse and set down her bag full of books and quills.

Elv walked to the greenhouse. She was so excited to cameto Herbology first class. It was a pleasure to learn about plants and how to handle them. When she approached the greenhouse, she saw that Prof. Adeagbo was already there with some students.

Elv sat on her table. "Hi again Professor... What are we going to have this year?? Anything interesting??" she greeted the professor and took out her quill and perchament. "Oh... and Hi there, Abbey and you too Selwyn..." she also greeted her friends.

Rory entered the class and was disappointed already. It looked like they were going to take tests. Argh, Rory thought, no one told her we had to take a test. She started to get worried but sighed. She walked into the class, sat in the front row and got out her parchment, quill and ink ready to go.

Elv looked at Rory who has ready for the quiz. "Pst... Rory... Are we going to have a quiz??" she asked. "On the first day of new semester?" Waiting for the professor, Elv getting nervous. "I'm not prepared... This isn't good. No quiz please..." she mumbled.

" Don't worry class, I just wanted you to get the feeling of how it's going to be when you take your exams. " she told them because some of them looked frightened. " So this is how it's going to look when you're going to take your exams. " she finished.

" Well since all of you are new faces to me, how about you introduced yourselves, like your name, age, house ? " Adebola went to her desk and looked at the class Roster. " Who is a Dawn, Abbey ? " she asked the class.

Elv more relaxed after heard that there would be no quiz. She smiled to herself. She watched the xcenery from the greenhouse while Prof. Adeagbo is calling their names one by one.

"Hi Elv!" Abbey said as Elveryn entered the classroom.

Abbey heard Professor Adeagbo calling roll, and noticed her name had been called. "That's me professor!" she said, putting her hand in the air so the professor could see it.

Rory sighed with relief and turned to see Abbey Dawn. She then waited for the professor the call the next name. Rory thought it was a bit odd that the teacher wanted the students to experience what it feels to take a test. It was stomach turning!
