Meeting Someone New (Open to Colton)

Abbey was walking threw Diagon Alley, shopping for her schools supplies. She took out the piece of parchment that held her list of things to do. She pointed at the word, Get new robes with her wand, and it immediatly was crossed off. She decided to stop in the ice cream parlor for a drink. She ordered a butterbeer, and began to drink it. Abbey then noticed a boy sitting at another table. He looked friendly, and she wondered if she should introduce herself....

I was sitting at a table at the parlour, drinking te butterbeer that I had just gotten. I girl with firey red hair came over to me. She looked interesting.
"Hey!" She said, and held out her hand.
"Hi?" I said, and shook her hand.
"I'm Abbey Dawn." She said excitedly, and sat on the empty chair across from me.
"I'm Colton, well, you can call me CJ. you go toHogwarts?" I asked.
"Why yes I do!" She said energetically. "Do you?"
"Yes." I answered. "I actually still have some shopping to do." She sat there, gulping down her butterbeer.
"What year are you going to be in?" She asked.
"4th. Yourself?"
"3rd. Do you know Ettie?"
"Yes I do. She's one of my really good friends. She my best friend, actually." I said.
"Cool. Well, if you want, we could finish up shopping together?" She looked at me, her big eyes shining.
"Sure..." I said.

"Awesome!" Abbey said. She was excited that Colton knew Ettie. Ettie was like her older sister at Hogwarts, she had looked out for her since Abbey's first year at Hogwarts. "So where do you need to go shopping next?" Abbey said. She looked at her to-do list. "I need to buy a new broom, how about you?" Abbey asked.

"Same. And I need some new quills, and some parchment paper." I answered. We stood up and walked out of the Parlour to the broom shop ((OOC: the name escapes me right now )). I was still in 20 question mode, so I asked her "What house do you want to be in (or are in?)" I waietd fro her reply.

"Hufflepuff." Abbey said. "How about you?" she asked. "Hufflepuff!" he said exciedtly. Abbey was happy about that. "Cool, then we'll get to see more of each other!" When Abbey and Colton entered the broom shop, they began to look around. She noticed a new broom. "What do you think of this one?" she asked, pointing to one that was in the display case.
