Background: Kim was born in London, England, to a witch mother and a muggle father. He hated Kim for inheriting her mother's abilities, and made sure Kim knew. The only times when she was happy was when her mother was around.
Kim is an only child, something she considers a bad thing. She grew up with very little friends, and no one besides her mother to talk to. She was always playing alone, and around the age of six she began to read everything from muggle fairy tales to old textbooks her mother had lying around.
Her mother died when Kim was ten, and Kim was left to deal with her father alone. This made her draw up inside herself for her first year at Hogwarts. He sent her off to Hogwarts, rather than keeping her at home, since it was her mother's wish Kim follow her true path. She is now in her sixth year, and is trying to make her father proud by getting good grades and showing him that just because she is a witch, she is still his daughter
Short Roleplay:Kim couldn’t wait for the new
year to start. She had always loved Hogwarts, it was like her second home. Her mother would tell her it was the most wonderful place in the world, and Kim knew she was right.
She stared out the window, watching the trees and sky fly by her. She took a deep breath, and felt herself relax. She closed her eyes, wondering what this year had in store for her. She thought for a moment she smelled rain in the air, but when her eyes fluttered open, the sun was still shining through the clouds. She crossed her arms; the perfect first day of the new school year would involve rain. She smiled, ‘No matter,’ she thought, ‘this year will be good all the same!’ With that final thought, she closed her eyes once more, allowing the sound of the train on the tracks as it sped along toward Hogwarts calm her down. The last thing she needed was to be extremely giddy on her first day back.
