"Good, because I hate when I'm behind in the conversation or missing out on some piece of information. It bugs me very greatly." Rose laughed. And it did. Normally, when she said something it was true. Then she almost saw the wheels turning in his head about how calmly she talked about failing. The expression on his face obviously showed that he obviously cared about his grades. He was a prefect so he had to. "You'll be working forever to set me straight. Trust me Nick, when I say I'm too far gone, I'm too far gone. Really, trust me." Rose said with a smile.
And she knew she was too far gone, she knew it. She was unhelpable, she didn't care. Might as well have fun while she could. She knew she was running herself into the ground, but it didn't matter to her right now. She knew she'd have a hard life ahead of her, especially when she was 1oo% against her family, but she didn't say anything.
Rose laughed when Nick called her dear. She was starting to see Nick as an older brother, but didn't say anything. She didn't want to make anything awkward between the two of them. "It's fine, let me handle it. Really, I'm a Malfoy, we can do these things." Rose smirked, and turned to the old witch that drove the cart. She and this woman had met in her first year, and she had started a tab with her, and her seventh year, she'd pay it all back, once she was old enough to draw money from her Family Vault by herself.
"Gladys, my friend, I'll take two of everything on your cart, put it on the Malfoy tab." The old witch smiled. "That's fine Rosalie, dear. Here you go." Gladys waved her wand, and one of everything landed on the seat next to Rose. Rose smiled at her. "Thanks Gladys! You rock." and Rose grinned when she heard the same thing she heard every year. "Anytime, deary." Rose sighed.
Then she turned to Nick. "So, what would you like?" Rose grinned at him.
