Back to school at Last [Vinny] (RP)

Mak trudged her way on to the train pulling her heavily laden trunk behind her. She sighed at last when she reached an empty compartment which wasn't too hard to find because she had gotten on the train early because she hated being late. She shoved her trunk up into the storage compartment and plopped down onto the open seat and set back to relax. She was hoping to catch a glimpse of Vinny who had taken off quickly the last time she saw her.

She watched people making there way by and as she saw a group of Ravenclaws she was able to catch a glimpse of Vinny she called out to her hopefully, "Hey Vinny! Would you like to seat with me?" My cabin is emty..."

Vinny turned around at the voice. "Mak! Sure." she said. She didn't bother to alert the Ravenclaws of her absence, they weren't her friends anyways. She slid over into the seat across from Mak after putting her trunk in the storage compartment. "Erm, sorry about last time we saw." she said. "It was nothing" she said, switching her gaze to her shuffling feet.

Mak watched as she put up her trunk and waitied for her to tak the seat. She was glad to see that it appeared that everything was going to be okay between them and not akward after last time. "I'm sorry too it was really akward... But anyways I'm am so excited to be heading back to good old Hoggy Hogwarts," she said with a laugh though she wasn't going back to many friends. She was hoping to make quite a few new ones and this trip was a good start.
"I never did get to ask you... Where are you from?" she asked.

"Erm, I'm from Big Hangleton." she said, sighing. "I always think of the Dark Lord then, and even though it isn't the same town he murdered in, it still gives me the creeps." she said. "Where're you from?" she asked.

Mak began twirling her hair as she did absentmindedly all the time. It was a bad habit of hers. She felt a slight knot get in it and she tried to casually wiggle her finger out of it. Mak's eyes widened as she mention Big Hangleton. She knew this to be the location where Voldemort's father had lived and she shuddered a bit. This must be a fairly scary place to live. And then she became thankful that she lived on a nice clear coast. She daydreamed about it for a moment before answering.

"Yes I quite agree with you there. Its enough to give anyone the creeps. I am actually from Greece. I live in Keterini it is right off the coast. I love it there. it is so beautiful," She smiled at the thought of being so far away. Most people were right around from England. She felt special for at least one part of herself.

She stared out the window to see the mass of trees flying by in blurry bits. She love the landscape that littered the route back to school. She turned back to Vinny and quite twirling her hair because she just realized she was doing it again. "What do you like to do for fun?" Mak inquired.

"Wow, Greece, that must be great." she said. She imagined lots of green and coast, but she had never been there. "Erm, for fun." she pondered. "Well, I like practising magic." she said. Then it came to her. She never did anything. No boyfriend, no hobbies, no summer classes, nothing. "Erm, and the usual." she said, shifting uncomfterably in her seat.

Mak figetted a bit nervously in her seat and settled to pull her feet off the ground and tucking the next to her side as she leaned against the window to her left. She could tell she asked a question that Vinny would have rather avoided, but what else was there to ask really, Mak herself didn't know really anyone at school. Though she had to admit she was meeting more people during summer break than from classes and such. So she herself was feeling probably just as akward as Vinny appeared to be. Mak tried to smile reasurringly, but not totally convienced that it would do the job.

"It is definitely wonderful there. You should visit if you ever get the chance." she replied and pondered Vinny's next statement. Practising magic, Mak thought, I bet she is incredibly smart then, "I bet you could help me out alot in my lessons then. I love learning and studying, but it doesn't mean I am top in my class."

The usual huh? "The usual is a bit overated I think, but who am I to talk. I spend more time with my family than friends," as she said this her voice trailed off because she realized that she had just admitted that her life was pretty boring. What 14 year old likes to hang out with thier family.

Vinny heard her. "Well, I do well in class." she said, blushing. "But the last year it got boring. Ya know, with my brother spreading bad rumours about me. He really is a pest. No one at next to me. No one talked to me. Even now, barely anyone does." she said, sighing. She looked out the window. The clouds looked a little strange. Not just a little, but really. And not only that. Her glass of pumpkin juice was fogging up. She could see her breath. That meant only one thing. She sprang up and tried to bolt the door.

Mak was not paying too much attention to her as she replied because she looked out the window and saw that it was growing incredibly dark outside. She then saw Vinny jump as Mak, herself, was starting feel a coldness come over her. She pulled out her wand as quickly as possible. And held it out in front of her, waiting for something to come through the door if Vinny was unable to get it closed

"Dementors," she said slightly louder than she meant to, "But why!"

She looked at Vinny as she struggled though Mak was feeling very confused at the moment.

"Erm, fun, I suppose?" she hufed. The door was really jammed. She tried and tried and tried, until she heard something. A funeral song, the smell of her grandmother. She looked up, and cringed, while fighting to stay concious, tring to pull out her wand. She hadn't noticed the grimy, black, frezing dementor gliding down the isle towards her. The last thing she saw was the dementor opening the compartment door fully...
