Every time we touch? [some mature content]

Chase stared at the ground in front of her. What had she done? She wasn't quite sure. What it was bad. She felt odd inside. Danny wasn't there, and the absence his cool hand on her back made her miss him even more. Her mind was spinning. She just.. needed to be obliviated. Oh how that would fix so many things. She could start over with Danny again. He could tell her about their feelings and she could be with him. And it was all be ok, because she wouldn't remember Sterling.. or Jesse, or Isobel.

It all confused her to no end, so she wanted to talk to someone about it, release these feelings! Sitting down on a random bench she put her face in her hands. It had been a hard last few months and she didn't know what she was going to do. Boy did she need Danny right now. More then anything. But he wasn't here right now, and it saddened her. His cool hand on her back, saying nice things. Even though one day he might potentially bite her.. she could risk it.

Chase was wearing something that was not very normal for her. A black skirt, that was normal, but her top was blue, not pink. A tube top yes, but not pink. A night light shade of blue. She sighed and let her brown hair fall into her face. She was just so tired of it all, and wanted to talk to someone who wouldn't make it such a big deal, who would listen, and maybe even forget, just to get it off her chest.

Chase jumped and looked up at the girl. She hadn't seen her before.. "Uh, yeah.. yeah.. sorry." She said rubbing her eyes before looking up at the girl and bouncing to her feet. "I'm Chase Moor, Gryffindor 6th year, Prefect." She said smiling at her, her eyes twinkling. It was almost hard to act like her old self. In fact it was crazy difficult. She grinned though, forcing it to her eyes. She was happy to see the girl though, new people always made her feel good. They didn't know what she was going through, and it was hard not to let that small amount of sadness creep into her eyes.

"Don't worry about me!" She said laughing, her head thrown back like it was the funniest thing she had ever heard. It was her old laugh, a bit forced, but her old laugh, and it felt good to hear it again. She smiled at the girl again. "It's been a long summer, I'm ready to go back to Hogwarts!" She said grinning at her, her hand out to shake hers.

Chase smiled at the girl. She sounded like a cool kid. She sat down and patted the seat next to her, leaning back, she crossed her legs and looked up at the sky. "I bet you won't have any trouble getting on the team!" She said grinning at the girl. "I don't really know much about trouble, but if you're brave enough to try, you've got to be pretty good." She said smiling at her.

But then her smile faltered. She looked away for a bit and then back at the girl. "It's just been tough lately." She said trying to sound happy but the flatness had creeped back into her voice. "I've been having some family problem, not to mention boy problems, on top of having to pay for a new house, barely having enough to eat, and still keeping my reputation up." She said softly and bent forward, both feet on the ground as she rested her elbows on her knees and rubbed her temples. "It gets to you after a while.."

Chase took a deep breath and looked at the girl. "At the end of last year I met this boy, his name was Sterling.. and we liked each other a lot, but my mum is a big person on reputation, and stuff like that, so I could only go out with him if he was either a half blood or a pureblood, and he just happened to be a muggle born. I end up getting attacked on the lawns by two students.. if you heard about that?" She said softly her eyes on the ground. "He tried to help me and ended up getting wounded so badly he went to St. Mungos. I was tortured, and I still have problems with those cruciatus curses. They like to pain my body at random moments." She said glancing at her then away.

"While he was in a coma.. I met.. someone else. His name is Jesse." She said keeping her eyes down. "We.. liked each other a lot, and so to help my mum.. We went out, I told Sterling when he woke up.. and I continued dating Jesse, it was a good time.." She wiped her eyes and shook her head rubbing her temples again. "During the battle, Sterling called me a slut, amoung other things, and I agreed with him because I realized.. he was right. I was a slut, no, I haven't done anything with another guy.. but I'm close enough.." She said softly.

"I end up getting really beat up by that bit of news.. and around that time.. Jesse goes on vacation. One vacation after another.. and I.. I cheat on him with Danny Valantine. I wasn't proud of it, don't think I was.. because while I was cheating on him.. he came back." She said staring at the ground. "He brought me flowers, and a present.. and ran away for two weeks, I cried.. the entire time. Then he came back and forgave me, only to leave again.. I ended up sending him an owl, saying I couldn't go out with him."

"Around this time.. my mother is helping my popularity as a model, yes I'm a model.. so she puts me in all these get ups.. I can't take it anymore.. I move out of the house into a flat in London, it's designed like a New York flat, and it's at the very top of a really high building. I end up.. kissing my ex boyfriend Sterling.. and meet Danny, who got turned into a Vampire on a trip back here to see the school." She said rubbing her eyes again. "The kiss wasn't anything.. I just.. I'm going to miss him, you know you're never over your first love, and that's what Sterling was to me."

"I kissed him to say goodbye, to say I'll never kiss him again, and Danny, oh sweet Danny.. he was going out with someone at the time.. but he ended up.. choosing me over his girlfriend, and she got very angry.." She said shuddering. "I don't know where we stand right now, but while all this is happening, my mom disowns me for dating a Vampire, and now I have to work really hard to keep paying the rent on my flat, I can't move back in, my maid has no money, but she stays around because she doesn't have another job yet.." She took a deep breath and looked at her.

"I'm kicked out of my family, my.. I don't even know if he's a boyfriend yet, is a Vampire, I lost my boyfriend, who I left Sterling for, I still love Sterling, but Danny is everything to me, I have to work so hard to keep paying the rent on my home, and now I have basically no one." She said looking at Mak. "My life is a living.. hellhole, and I don't know what to do. I get appointed Prefect, I'm trying to get into my old personality and I just wish someone would wipe my memory tell me the important stuff and leave it to that!" She said feeling the tears pool in her eyes but she made no attempt to wipe them away as they slowly slid down her cheeks.

Chase took a deep breath and then took the hanky. Smiling she wiped her eyes and gave it back. She looked at her as she talked for a long moment. She started to chew on her thumbnail as she talked. "I never thought about during school." She said softly thinking hard about it. What would she do? "I don't know anymore, ever since the attack on the lawns.." She ran her hand over the diagonal scar that ran over her back. "I just.. I don't know." She said shaking her head. "They don't talk to me much, they act like I'm fragile from it, and sometimes I am.. they come less and less, the pains, but the less frequent means the more they hurt." She said shaking her head. "It's hard, but I'll.. figure it out somehow.. if it means moving out of my flat and going to a new one.. I'll do that if I have to." She said shaking her head and looking at Mak.

"Listen.. I know it's hard to hear all this from a complete stranger.. but thank you, I feel better getting all of that off my chest." She said shaking her head and wiping her eyes with her fingers, before going back to chewing on her thumbnail.
