What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Wow, you're a great describer" Izzie told him. She told the waitress what she would like and then grinned. "I can't wait to try one!" Izzie said, excitedly. She then started to twirl her hair and think of other things she'd like to ask him. "So, are you book-minded?" Izzie asked.

"You mean study freak? Yes," he said with a laugh, although unaware as to whether or not that was what she meant. He wanted to get back to Hogwarts so much... he missed the school with all his heart... Summer was so boring.

"And you?" he asked as he sipped his butterbeer, which left a rather absurd looking foam patch just above his right lip.

"Oh, no" Izzie admitted with a chuckle. "I couldn't tutor!" Izzie added. "How's your Summer?" Izzie asked. Izzie's Summer was sad..and sore.

"Honestly it's been pretty dull. Nothing's really happened--" he trailed off as he remembered his several encounters with Catalina and then inadvertantly smiled. "Sorry, that's just my immediate response. I've spent some time with friends," he said, remembering Chase. "It's been a lot better than normal summers, although last summer I was a completely different person," he said, inclining his chair casually onto the back two legs.

The waitress came back with the order and walked off. Izzie grinned and picked up her spoon and started on her short soup. "I see" Izzie said, after a bite of her food.

Sterling took another swig of butterbeer and smacked his lips happily. "So. How's the food?" he asked conversationally, gesturing toward the mysterious soup that she was eating. It wasn't very familiar to Sterling... then again, he would be quicker to invent a potion than an edible culinary dish.

Izzie finished eating her mouthful and swallowed and grinned. "Delicious!" Izzie nodded. "Have you tried one before?" Izzie asked, curiously. She would be just shocked to hear anyone who hates it or who has never tried it and never will.

"I don't think so," Sterling said, peering over the brim of the bowl nervously. He was curious to try it, but didn't want to seem rude in requesting some of it from her. He took another sip of butterbeer and allowed the warm, comfortable thoughtless sensation to again envelop him.

"Well, would you like to try one?" Izzie asked. She scooped a dim sim from the soup and got a plate from a nearby table and placed it on top. She then went back to the same table and gave him a fork. "Go on, it isn't spicey, but it is delicious!" Izzie nodded encouragingly.
