Spike and Zoe's first date

Spike smiled when she held on to him, then smiled wider when she asked him if it was a good idea for him to be taking her out to shop. "Yes, it very ok." He then started the bike and took off quickly. He could feel her hold on tighter. He loved it.

Zoë couldn't help but be happy that he was willing to take her shopping. She hadn't met many guys who would willing go shopping with her. But then again she hand't been around many to start with. Louis and Jazz both hated it and voice their complianets often enought.

Zoë sat with her arms loosely around Spike. She should have been afraid. Bikes were something she had never been on but suprisenly she was calm. Letting out a breath that she hadn't realized she had been holding, she begain to relax. That was until Spike, kicked the bike to life.

Without thinking, Zoë tightened her arms around Spike's waist. She tried not to be afraid but couldn't help herself. Looking at the screnery as it passed by wasn't something she thought she could do. So instead she barried her face in his back.

Spike could feel her warmth in his back, he liked it so there was no complaining. Spike turned a few times and slowed down for the red lights, but in no time they had arived. "Ok, were here." Spike said to her since she hadn't moved yet. "I hope the bike hadn't scared you?" Spike asked her not wanting anything in this date to go wrong.

"Oh no. I'm ok. " Zoë said to the back of Spike. She tried to bury her face in his back. Part of her didn't want to show her fear but another part couldn't help herself. After a few moments and deep breath she slightly loosened her grip on him. Nothing was going to spoil her evening.

Spike smiled as he felt her speak into his back. He knew that she didn't like the bike ride, so he decided that when they left they would take a cab, that way they could talk more and stare into each others eyes. He know looked back and thought about why he even choose to show up on a bike. He still doesn't know. "Ok, well, after you." He said to her, holding out his hand for her to hold as they walked into the building. He wanted to show her how much he really cared, so he also opened the door for her.

Slowy, Zoe withdrawed herself from the back of him letting out a long sigh. "That wasn't as bad as I thougt it was going to be." That was the truth. She was actully suprised by her level of calmness. It was a good sign for the possibly of future rides.

Looking around, Zoe saw they were finally in the parking lot. "That was a really quick trip." She couldn't keep the suprise out of her voice. For some unknown reason she thought the ride would have been longer. Or that might have been the fear of the ride talking.

Zoe dismounted the bike. Looking back at Spike, a small smile formed on her face as she reached out to take his hand. "Where to?"

Spike could feel the warmth of her hand in his. He loved her warmth, and her smile, and everything about her. Maybe thats why he has been so dorky lately. "Anywhere you want, m'lady." He said to her, hoping this would make her happy. Happiness is the one thing he understood more than anything else.

Zoe could fill her smile growing. "Well in that case. Lets find a shoe store. I love shoes." She could fill a giggle starting and knew there was no way to stop it. Holding Spike's hand a little tighter, Zoe lead them toward the stores. She was very happy to be here and with him. She was really looking forward to the night before them.

"Shoes, huh. I'll have to remember that." He said to her, thinking about what kind of gift to buy her. He felt her hand tighten on to his, and he loved it. He could feel his head spinning from all the good feelings he was having. As they headed to the shoe store he could smell her perfume running around his nose. As he smelled it, he loved it and remembered it for another gift idea. He had all intentions of making this relationship last.

Giving her own shoes a quick glance. Zoe could see the tips of her white shoes peeking out from the bottoms of her jeans. They were one of her favorite pair for dressing up. Of course this was as dressed up as she liked to be. She would get all dolled up for a dance but was never really comfortable. But these were good. Of course her plain converse or tennis shoes or better yet flip-flops. Now then she was happy. "One can never have to many shoes." Zoe said as they finally reached the doors to the building.
