Safari with Jemma (Paris Airport)

Gabrielle just said bye to her sister,Bille,their kids and her parents and packed her suitcase carrying most unusual objects she ever seen.Though since she wanted to act like muggles for the change she brought everything she could possibly have a need off on a safari. Tent,pillow,blanket,cover,comfy clothes and many more.She dragged her bagage towards the stewardess giving it to her as it was safely on the plane.It was going to be several hours untill Cap town,but she felt a change was good for her.

She took a peek at her wrist watch.It was 4.45 AM.She needed to do some documentaion though she needed Jemma for it.She hoped Jemma is about to arrive since paper buisness took at least an hour.She looked around nervously.Big sized muggle purse with something she would maybe need on the plane hanged down her shoulder with a photo camera,muggle mobila,some money in it and ofcourse her passport and visa.She was glad to change the routhine.

Jemma was going on holiday. A proper holiday. Not just going to visit friends or family. She was going away with Gabrielle, one of her closest friends, to a place she had never been before. South Africa. They were meeting at the airport in around five minutes. Jemma was sitting in a taxi, hoping she would be there soon. She didn't want to be at all late.

Luckily there was almost no traffic. She arrived at the airport and got her suitcase out of the boot. It wasn't too heavy, she had put a charm on it to make it lighter. Not too light to be suspicious, put so it wasn't too hard to carry. She picked up her suitcase and her handbag for the plane and walked into the airport.

Jemma checked her watch. She groaned. She wasn't late, she just couldn't believe she was up this early. Stupid Muggle transport. Jemma looked around to see if she could spot Gabrielle anywhere. It was a big airport. Why hadn't they picked somewhere to meet? She pulled out her Muggle 'mobile phone' and called her. At least they had thought to exchange numbers. She hoped Gabrielle would pick up.

Gabrielle looked nervously at her wrist watch.Jemma was nowhere to be seen. "Hurry up Jemma or we won't have time to arrange our papers." she said for herself when she heard something ringing from inside of her handbag.It was her mobile.She digged into her bag for it and found it.It was a call from Jemma so she picked it up. "Hey Jemma Gabrielle here.Where are you?" she asked across the phone.She looked around again,but Jemma wasn't there.

Jemma was sitting on a bench by the entrance. She had checked in her main bag only her hand luggage was on her now. Ring, ring, ring, ring. Jemma hoped Gabrielle would pick up. Thanks Merlin she did. "Oh Merlin, hi! I'm in the airport though I've got no idea where. This place is massive!" she said, rather quickly. "I'm by the entrance. I've just checked in. Shall we meet by security?" she asked. It was the first place she thought of, plus, they would both need to go through security anyway. Unless Gabrielle already had. "Unless you're already the other side. Where are you?" she finally asked, trying to make sense of herself.

Gabrielle listened to what Jemma was saying with a nervous look. "I am on the gate 35 B Jemma.It's down the hall and 5th entrance left." she said explaining the way to get to the lugage check in. "Speed up or we will be short in time." she said looking at her watch. "I hope you broiught your papers or the whole safari is going down." she added quickly waiting for Jemma to reply.

Jemma nodded. Down the hall, fifth entrance on the left. She repeated that over and over to herself so as not to forget it. "Ok, I'll be there in a second. I've got everything with me, don't worry." she told Gabrielle. "See ya." she said, hanging up. She put her phone away and stood up. She looked around her.

There were two hallways. Which one did she go down. She turned around. Information was there, luckily. "Où est le sorti número trente et deux B?" (Where is gate number 32B)she asked, glad she knew French. Cette direction, tournez à la gauche après cinq tournes. she was told. She looked to where the woman was pointing. The second hallway. Right. At least she knew where she was going now, she thought gladly. She already knew it was the fifth turn, just not the hallway.

Jemma rushed off down the hallway, counting the turns. One, two, three, four and finally five. She saw a sign, 32B. She was there. She looked around and saw Gabrielle immediately. She walked towards her friend. "Hi, I'm here." she said, sitting down.

Gabrielle heard a voice calling her from down the hall 3 gates further.She put her cellphone back into her handbag and hurried up towards Jemma who had finally arrived. "Hi Jemma.And it's Thirty FIVE B not 32B" she commented starting to drag part of Jemma's lugage. " Départ
pour Casablanca Madmoaselle merci." she said when they arrived at the check in.Stewardess took Jemma's lugage and gave Jemma to sign for it.

"Give me your papers to arrange them untill you take care of paper work here at the check in." she said taking out her ID card, statement, passport, visa and birth-certificate which were all together in a paper folder.She waited for Jemma to give her her papers so she can enter the office nearby.

Jemma saw Gabrielle walk up to her. "Oops, I misheard you." she said, laughing. She was tired so wasn't completely with it. "I'm here now though, that's what matters." she added, collecting her thoughts.

Jemma handed over her luggage, keeping her handbag on her. She was taking that on the plane. "Voilà." she handed her bags over to the person. She rummaged in her handbag, taking out her documents. "Here, got everything." she said, showing Gabrielle.

Gabrielle looked at her wristwatch.They had 40 minutes untill departure.She revised all Jemma's papers and saw it was all. "That'll of them.I'll be right with you." she said in a hurry entering the office on her right.She gave employees her and Jemma's papers and waited untill they finish transactions with Marocco and South Africa.Twenty minutes later they gave her departure certificate so she walked back to Jemma. "Wow i never thought i'll come our of there." she commented as she got back to Jemma. "Are you done with your check in?" she asked quickly as they had 15 minutes to board.

Jemma was sitting down, waiting. She had already checked in her luggage. She was really excited. She couldn't wait. She hadn't been on a proper holiday in many, many years. "Yeah, I'm ready." she told Gabrielle, as they had fifteen minutes to go. "I guess we better board the plane now." she said, they didn't have much time for shopping left. "What seats are we in?" she asked, curious, wondering where abouts on the plane they would be sitting.

Jemma stood up and surveyed the room. It was a lot more crowded now, she noticed, as the departure time was getting closer. She looked over and found the gate. Some people were already going through. A slight queue was forming. "We better go before that queue gets any larger." she pointed out.
