Slow Dance

Chase watched him and was laughing and having a great time. The song ended though and he kissed her hand. "Well I'll say Sterling."She said blushing. "It seems you have changed."She said softly and then curtsied again. "But this time, it's for the better."She looked up at him and then backed away. "Thank you."She said softly and then turned to go. But she stopped and turned to look back at him a big smile on her face. "For everything!"

Sterling rushed forward and gave her another brotherly hug. "Have a good day! I'll see you tomorrow?" he asked, offering. He had a quizzical look on his face. He was definitely asking, giving her the choice. If she didn't want to see him he could deal with that.

After waiting for Chase's answer, he turned to Cat. "Oh hello Cat!" he said happily. He stared at her gleaming legs for a moment before gazing back into her eyes. He smiled and stood as he had done for Chase a moment before, offering her his hand. "May I have this dance?" he asked, smiling as the musicians took a few seconds of break between the songs.

"of course Sterling." Chase said and watched as he swept another girl off her feet. Wow..that quickly? With a small sigh Chase's eyes wandered the crowd looking for that one head who would make her day the best night of her life. But instead, she was quickly swept off by an exchange student and was back in the thick of things, swept away from Sterling and his date.

ne'os walked into the room know that sam might be a bit late he didnt realy mind. He was dressed in his green dress robes his wand tucked up into his sleeve just because of what had happened at other dances he thought he should be carefull.

Sterling smiled broadly at Cat. "Ooh I love this song!" it was true. A Cauldron of Hot Strong Love was playing. He leaned close into Cat. He stepped to the music, singing some of the words with his resonant voice. He used to be in choir when he went to Muggle school... he had loved it. He spun Cat with the music smiling at her. The hand on her waste started to slide around, no longer rooted to the spot. He went with impulses and the music as he danced with her, smiling contentedly all the while.

Sterling thoroughly enjoyed the dance. When the last few notes were sung, he sung along with them. He pulled his hand away from Cat's waist reluctantly. It lingered longer than it should have without arising suspicion. He spun her one more time as the song closed and smiled at her. He kissed her wrist and then moved in to kiss her on the cheek. He blushed a little bit, still holding her hand although the song was over.

Jesse came to the dance a little bit late, not on purpose, but late none the less. On the way to the dance he realized he had forgotten to put on shoes, how he had made it all the way there without realizing he did not have shoes was a mystery to him, but a younger girl pointed it out to him so he had to rush back. After finally finding them laying on his bed, he made a b-line back to the dance. He had wanted to meet Chase there, and he hoped she was not angry at him.

Once in the dance he spent the next twenty minutes trying to track her down, getting more and more frustrated. He grumbled angrily until he finally spotted her. He stopped for a few seconds admiring how stunning she looked. He smiled brightly, almost unable to walk over to her, only able to look at her from a distance. Finally he made his move, walking casually over to her with his big toothy grin.

"Sorry I am late, traffic was a mess!"
