Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Buying a wand - Page 4 Empty Re: Buying a wand

Aleski strolled into Olivanders, clutching his money sack and looking around. He never liked this place when he was last here before he started Hogwarts and he didn't like it now, but his old wand was practically broken and he needed a new one. So he decided he would just get the exact same model as his old wand, and then leave.
He walked casually up to the counter, trying hard not to seem creeped put by the musty old shop. Er... I'll have an oak wand with dragon heartstring, about 9 1/2 inches. If possible could it be on the thin and snappy side and specialise in defensive spells?
He dropped fifty points onto the counter and glanced out the window, hoping this wouldn't take too long.

Mariana looked as the three new customers just walked into the store. She memorized the wand and started taking boxes one by one from their shelves. "That is 50 points each." she said handing wand to Aleski who already left the many on the counter,

Cosette gave them the money, as she received her wand from her.
"Thank you." She grinned, and bounded out of the shop.

Elv came into Ollivander's shop. She rang the bell. "Excuse me... Cand I have 9 1/2 inches wand from birch wood with unicorn hair that is nice and supple and also good for transfiguration, please..." she ordered her wand.
