No, you don't have to apply for patronuses. It's a spell you have to learn (though Teddy will probably already know it). We don't ask you to apply for spells. That would just be waaaay too complicated and yeah. Lol.

How your character got this ability: Went to the weekly apparation seminars. She never really had much trouble and passed the test on her first try.

Ability Desired: Legilimency
How your character got this ability: Looking for weaknesses in her half siblings, she ended up reading their minds often. She honed her skills and can do it on purpose now.

How your character got this ability:He started studying it in the 7th year and finally got it at the age of 19.

Ability Desired:Wandless Magic
How your character got this ability:He just recently learned how to do it. He listened to stories and studied hard.

How your character got this ability: She trained for all of these, and it took her a long time for Legilimens and Occlumens, but she mastered it 2 years before now (when she was 20)
