Having a Drink;; OPEN

[[OOC: Like a bar but NO ALCOHOL. Basically the place to go if you don't feel like dancin' (song reference xD.]]

Davina walked into the Great Hall. She looked at everyone around her, dancing, chatting, having a really good time here. She had never danced much, and didn't plan to start dancing then. She looked around the room for a familiar face. She could see a few, but they all seemed to be with people that she either barely knew or didn't know at all. She sighed and turned around.

Davina headed towards the bar, where they were serving a number of drinks. She asked the server for a butterbeer. She really needed it. She slowly sipped the drink, watching everyone carefully. She had a habit of people-watching.

Mariana was in the mood to dance,but since she didn't find Jess anywhere she decided to take a drink with her friend Davina.Jess was probably somewhere maybe she just had to look better,but she decided to take a break anyway.She sat by the meadow on the grass and took some butterbeer before she sighed and finally said: "Hey Davina you look gorgeous." in her normal tone.

"Oh, hi Mariana," Davina greeted the girl. She'd met Mariana a few times around the castle, but she didn't know if they were properly friends yet. Mariana was really nice and everyone seemed to like her. Davina was quiet and almost nobody liked her. She wondered why Mariana wasn't with her boyfriend, Jess Potter. "How are you?" she asked politely.

It was not difficult for anyone to divinate that Davina had some certain shyness.In fact she figured that out after their first talk in the libary with screaming homeowork organizers.It was perfectly normal for her though Davina was always for her something like a friend that needs protection. "I am alright thank you.How about you?" she asked in an equally polie tone.

Davina knew that Mariana would never have a real conversation with her. She was two years older than herself, with a boyfriend and plenty of other friends. They weren't even in the same house. She was lucky she was even talking to her, really. "I'm alright." she replied. She wasn't really enjoying the dance. Nobody would ask her to dance, she knew that. She wondered why she even bothered coming at all.

Mariana could maybe guess Davina's thoughts.It wasn't difficult to imagine that a shy person would not have much self-confidence with talking to someone that is one year older than her.She liked for some reason to give Davina advises so this time it was not going to be an exception. "You know Davina..." started Mariana with a sigh: "Just because i am one year older than you,doesn't mean i am better than you in any way." she said hoping these words were coming to her.

Davina listened to Mariana, not sure exactly what she meant. She didn't know how to respond to that. She couldn't disagree with her, since she was being so nice, yet she couldn't say that she was better than Mariana either! "Uh, what do you mean? she asked Mariana, cautiously.
