Jess glared at 'savanah' angrily. Darren he could understand, he was a prick, but he'd always though she was his friend. "Backstabber," he muttered at her, before adding what he had to add. "The effects of gillyweed in salt water, compared to those in fresh water are still being debated by herbologists worldwide, however, it is widely regarded that it's affects will last about an hour. Also, one of the key ingredients in the drink gillywater is, unsurprisingly, gillyweed, however it does not have any of the affects that gillyweed has on a person. It doesn't give them gills or flippers, and it doesn't look like rat's tails." Jess said, grinning smugly at both Darren and Soph

Darren smirked as Jess had forgotten the main part. "It lets you breathe underwater.." he said rolling his eyes. "it tasted rubbery, and sometimes, as Jess said, its effects don't work."

"Its native to the Mediterranean," Darren answered.
