Spring Dance

((OOC:I know I'm like 21 pages late xD but I'm still posting even if the topic is deserted...Lets just pretend I was here the whole time...xD))

Isabella sat in the corner and wasn't surprised nobody had noticed her there. She felt a bit bad for herself and got up and dragged herself to the Spring Dance! Even though she didn't have a date....

Maybe I should've taken that 4th year Hufflepuff's offer..sigh...... she thought. "No, I can't go down and just be that desperate. Am I that desperate?"she said to herself.

She looked at her dress and sighed a bit louder. She put this on for nothing.....

A slow song for "Couples" started playing. She just sipped on her 9th cup and tried to tune out the music.

Nikki sighed and looked at James again. "Are you hungry? Thirsty?" Nikki asked him again. She shook his hand a bit to wake him up.

James snapped out of his thought and smiled. "Sure!" he said trying to sound optimistic. He had just been in a daze, thinking about how his father had told him the story of when they had the Yule Ball during his fourth year. It upset him a little that he had been here like this, but now he would never step foot in Hogwarts again. He knew it was unfair to Nikki though, and that he should snap out of it. Because he was after all so happy to be here with her. "Let's go get something to drink shall we?" he said extending his arm out for her to hold on to.

"Yeah of course" Nikki smiled. She felt guilty that she hadn't told him her darkest secret. She smiled and grinned at him while they walked together to the punch and food table. She got a plate and started to fill it with food and got herself a glass of butterbeer.

James smiled as he watched people glance over at them as they walked together. It was nice to officially have someone for everyone to see who was his. He was relieved when she filled her plate up with food, because he was going to hold back for her sake. "Thank merlin! I was gonna hold back for you, I'm starved. I don't think I've eaten since this morning," he said eagerly as he began to fill his plate sky high.

Nikki chuckled. "After dancing and getting ready for this, you need to eat every second almost" Nikki laughed. She smiled and walked over to a vacant table and sat. She grinned and waited for James to come.

James followed her to the table that was empty. He ate as fast as he could since he was starving, but still tried to keep it cool. He managed to spill a little icing onto his dress robes and moaned in annoyance. "Oh for the love of god..I was sure I was going to get through this night without doing anything clumsy or stupid!" he said laughing as he looked down and tried to wipe off the stain, only making it worse. He sighed.

"Oh, it's fine" Nikki giggled. "It makes you cuter" Nikki smiled. She poked her tongue out playfully at him and grinned. She had only eaten a slice of pizza and drank half of her butter beer. "I will probably do something clumsy later too" Nikki chuckled. She sighed happily, staring at James.

James was relieved to know that Nikki wasn't embarassed or ashamed of the big stain on his robes from the icing. He sighed too and smiled at her, and looked into her eyes. He took a gulp of his butterbeer as she stuck her tongue out playfully at him. His eyes immediately went down to her tongue and then her lips. Oh merlin, why did he have to have stupid teenager "urges".

Sophia sat at a table alone boredly twirling her wand between her fingers as she watched everyone danced around her. This was the first time Sophia ever remembered her not having a date since like forever. "Now I know how everyone feels that don't have a date!"Sophia thought to herself as she took a drink of her butterbeer.
