Zoe thought for a few moments. She knew this one. Raising her hand. "Rictusempra is derived from the Latin "ridere", meaning "to laugh at, laugh" and Latin "semper", meaning "always, thoroughly. Its a tickling Charm that causes a victim to buckle with laughter. This is usually used as a diversionary tactic in duels." She was happy that she got a chance to actualy answer before the others but now was worried that she might have been too hasty.

Davina was annoyed that Zoe answered first. Why did she answer first? Davina was cleverer. She just hadn't been quick enough. Instead of sulking she listened to every word the teacher was saying, determined to answer the next question correctly.

Zoe smiled when the professor told her that she had been correct. She also won her house points. That was also a plus. But now the professor wanted someone to stand so he could demonstrate it. She took a deep breath and stood. She would show the class that she was as willing as the rest.

Davina was annoyed. She was torn between being the geek she was and volunteering or sitting there and not trusting the teacher, as she didn't trust many people. Weasley was too scared to volunteer, she noticed. That decided things for her then. "I will," she said, getting up and walking to the front of the class.

"Well seeing as Zoe was ready first, i'll let her do it." Professor Potter, told Davina, gesturing for her to sit. "Now Zoe, i can prmise you, this wont hurt a bit. Well, it might a bit, but it'll only stitches from laughter," he told her before waving his wand. "Rictusempra," he yelled, waiting for the spell to hit Zoe
