The Three Broomsticks

Jess was slowly making his way up the path to the three broomsticks, trhe wind really picking up. From what he'd head, this was going to be the worst blizzard of the decade. Of the past 4 decades even, but despite all this, Jess really, really, wanted a butterbeer, and to be surrounded by his friends. Somewhere in the distance, he saw a faint yellow light, illuminating a swinging sign which depicted three broomsticks, and the words 'The Three Broomsticks.' Seeing this, he quickened his pace a bit, and surged forward till he was at the door himself.
As he entered he heard the call of a full house, and felt the waves of heat washing over him, warming every cell in his body. "One butterbeer," Jess said cheerily to Madame Rosmetta, as he sat down and waved at a few people sitting around the place.

"No really I'll be fine/." said Mariana walking out,didn't wanna torment her friends with her cousin.She walked back to the castle.

Before Mariana walked to the castle as she planned,she decided to walk into Three Broomsticks to pick up something to drink before returning.She needed to calm down a bit so she took a seat in the corner with butterbeer in her hand not noticing there is someone familiar there.She just kept looking at glass of butterbeer like a robot.

Jess was just getting ready to head back up, rather more than a bit pleased by the evenings proceedings, when he saw Mariana in the corner. "Good evening Beautiful," he said cheerily, sauntering over to her with a smile on his face, before he drew a chair over to her table. "How are you this dismal, dreery evening?" He then asked, grabbing her hand and giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Mariana didn't look at Jess although she accpeted his hand. "Hello." she said with a rather sad voice.Even Jess's sense of humour couldn't cheer her up right now. "I am fine." she said in a rather unkonvincing voice.

Jess picked up on Mari's sullen mood in an instant. "What's wrong love?" He asked her softly, gliding to a free chair near her, and dragging it right up to her. "Has someone hurt you?" he proceeded, "Are you ok?" He also asked her

"I am fine really." she said picking up a tissue.She was rather trying not to get Jess worried although her silent,sad voice was discovering her mood.

Darren was outside at Hogsmeade. He didn't usually come here, it was boring and too crowded, but there was nothing to do at the castle on weekends. Stil there was nothing really to do at Hogsmeade, Honeydukes was too crowded and Zonko's was boring, so Darren decided to go to the Three Broomsticks in hope he might see one of his friends there.

Entering the Three Broomsticks, he felt himself instantly warmed up. He glanced around the pub and sighed, spotting Jess and Mari. They were both his best friends, but together they were just annoying, always forgetting he was even there. Going to Madam Rosmerta he said "One firewhisky please," handing over a galleon. Taking the bottle, he walked towards Jess and Mari. "Hello," he said.

"You can tell me," Jess told Mari sternly. After, what was a relationship if you couldn't trust your partner enough to tell them how you were feeling? Anyhoo, it was about this time that Jess saw, and heard Darren. "Why hello," Jess said cheerily, turning to face his friend. "How are you?" He asked, giving Darren a friendly slap on the back.

Darren hoped he wasn't invading something private. Well it didn't seem like it anyways, as, for one, Mari looked sad, and two, Jess would have told him to go away if they were here together. "Im ok, you?" he said, sitting down.

Mariana was actually glad Darren interupted tham so she doesn't have to do an exshibition of her feeling right now.Mostly it was because of her cousin Dae's dissappearance.She decided she needed to at leat act cheerful so she saluted Darren in a normal voice: "Hi Darren." she said although without her usual smile.
