Darren chuckled at her comment, expecially the fact she was apologizing before they had even started dancing. he always said her hesitating was why she was clumsy, yet she would never listen. So stubborn. Placing his hands on her waist, he began to dance slowly. He hated dancing, it was one thing he was extremely bad at.

Ginevra had tried his suggestion last time and it had indeed worked but before she tried again, she had to make sure she did say it incase. She wouldn't want to be rude on purpose - not to Darren, at least. Swaying slowly back and fourth, it was then before she tried his suggestion of focusing on something else so she didn't hesitate that she noticed that all the other dancers were couples. Frowning slightly, she wiped it off her face as soon as it came.

Darren remembered the last time they danced, at the previous dance, she had listened to his advice. And she hadn't tripped or stepped on his toe once! Yet she had stopped using his advice now, he really didn't get that at all. Catching her frown, he raised an eyebrow slightly, but then saw her looking around at other people and knew she was probably thinking the same thing he was.

Looking back at Darren's face now, she moved her arms a bit more onto his shoulders, but not much. Trying to concentrate, this was what she had done last time but she wasn't staring or anything, no that's just be plain creepy, she just smiled at him before looking over his shoulder again, glancinag at him everyonce and awhile. It looked as if now she were seeing the people in the crowd but she was really picturing things in her head instead.

Seeing her look towards him again, Darren quickly avoided her eyes, instead looking over her head at the other couples. He hoped the song would end sometime soon, and decided to break the silence a bit. "Mari and Jess look great together," he said randomly, smiling as he watched them dance.

Ginevra had always been the more open out of her and Darren, always, and she doubted that would ever change. Glancing over to Mari and Jess, she nodded, not really seeing them until she blinked a few times. "Yea, they're cute." she agreed. They were the one couple that never seemed to fight or even argue - they were a solid one and like any other girl, Ginevra still wished one of these days she'd get one of her own like that. But really, when she looked at it, she saw that as impossible.

"Mmm.." Darren didn't really know what to say now, the stupid song wasn't ending! "So.." he said, trying to start a conversation again.

"If you don't want to dance, we don't have too." Ginevra spoke up, knowing him well enough to tell that he was getting rather impatient with the long song. He was always like this so she was used to it and knew not to take it personally.

Darren sighed, Gin could see through him very easily. It was so annoying. "Naa, I do. Its just a long and boring song," he said. It was quite a feeble lie, but he didn't want to be rude.
