NEWT Care of Magical Creatures: Class 2

" They are sorted into the Beast Division ,sir. " Addy said to the professor.

"Good, 5 points to Ravenclaw. Now, there are many many breeds of dragons, luckily for you I have collected every single breed in europe. And we won't even have to go to the forbidden forest this time! Follow me.." he said, leading them towards the cabin.

Mariana got up and followed Headmaster.

The headmaster lead them to an open space between the cabin and the forest. Here were 6 cages with cloth drooped over them so they couldnt see anything - they were small cages about 3-4 foot in length and width. But growling was nevertheless coming from inside these cages. "Now I must warn you all, Dragons are rated XXXXX, because they are known wizard killers and difficult to kill or stun. Their hide protects them from nearly every spell, so you need multiple wizards to harm a dragon. Their fangs, claws and tail are dangerous, but the most dangerous thing about them is the fire they breath. The best way to deal with a dragon is to destroy its eyes, which are its weakest point. They ARE tamable, but rarely is a dragon tame," he lectured. "Anyways, the ones here are all baby dragons, who are not so dangerous."

Thank goodness Addy thought standing behind the professor.

Mariana looked at dragons rather quietly.

The professor waved his wand, and the cloth on the first cage vanished, revealing a small dragon, about two foot high, with black scales and bronze horns. "Who knows which dragon is this?" the headmaster asked.

Jess raised his hand, recognising it in an instant.

Mariana thought she knew the name of this dragon so she stepped back with her eyes wide open.
