"Glad to do it," Sergio said. Then he added, teasing, "You guys have all the fun over here."
"What match was this?" Ana asked.
"Anise won the school wide dueling competition at Beauxbatons today," Ginger said. "She'll be representing Beauxbatons at the Internationals this fall."
"Congratulations!" Sergio was thrilled for her. He and Ana hugged Anise, and hugged Ginger, telling Ginger that her support of Anise was part of what, obviously, gave Anise the confidence to compete.
"Oh, Suzanne, clearly," Marcus told Jack. "When Robert went to Switzerland to see Suzanne, he found her magic was not bound. So she had plenty of time to recruit someone to do some more dirty work before Robert caught it and bound her again. Besides, Diamond's adoption and name change was made official today, so the paperwork could very well have been delivered to her and Tom today."
Robert was pouring doses of energy potion for everyone. Angus went over to Sergio and Ana.
"Can you stay for supper? I've got steaks," Angus said.
"We'd love to, but we need to get back," Ana said. "We have climbers coming to the waystation tonight, so we have to get back to host them. "We'll take a rain check, though."
"Any time," Angus said.
"Be sure to call us for the next party, too," Sergio grinned, and they ported out for home.
"Ev?" Angus asked. "Can you lot stay?"
"We'd love to, but Rosaria is making a new recipe of something or another, and she told us we'd better be home on time for supper today--or else," Evan laughed. "And Edward and Simone are coming."
"Not surprised," Angus said.
"We'll pick the girls up in the morning and take them for breakfast before school," Evan said, as Dennis apparated in. Anise and Ginger ran over to their father and gave him big, excited hugs.
"We'll see you lot in the morning. Come on, Girls. Let's get home," Evan said. "Goodnight, All." Evan ported Tara, the girls and himself home. Angus turned and walked back to the house by himself to get the grill lit so the charcoal would have time to get hot enough to cook the steaks. He went out back on the deck and lit the grill, glad the rain had stopped.
