Nothing new here

To be honest it wasn't nothing new for Tiffany, it was pretty usual to find this little ravenclaw girl here in the library. She seemed to spend a lot of hours here. Almost everyday she was here. Today there was no expectation in her case. The girl was sitting here back of the library and doing her homework. She just hated how busy it was in the common room today. Everyone felt like sitting there when it was rainy outside.

She was just working on her Charms class essay. She hated doing these things to be honest. It can be so hard to understand it all. She never was good with Charms, so gasping conspect of it was hard for her. She just tried to understand it all. Maybe she had spent too much reading all these books and her mind really couldn't get it anymore. She was literally reading this one sentence multiple times.

Maddison had bounced into the library on a mission to finish an essay for charms that was due the next day. Looking for a quiet place to get it done, focusing not being her strong suit to begin with. “Oh, Hey!” she smiled seeing Tiffany sitting at a table alone, her charms book opened in front of her. “Tiffany, right?” she asked remembering her from the day that she had snuck out to the forest. “I never thanked you for looking out for me last month. So, um thank you.” she looked at the other girl sheepishly.

Tiffany looked up from her all her books when she heard Maddie's words. She smiled at the girl and wondered at first what it was about but it connected to her. "Oh, yeah no problem. Seemed like good thing to do. They were very worried," she said with a small smile on her face.

Kole and Michelle sat at the table, their faces etched with worry. And they had every reason to be concerned. It was all Maddie's fault, and she knew it. She looked across the table at the Ravenclaw, feeling a twinge of guilt. "I kinda went into the forest at night, alone, on the full moon," she admitted. The Forbidden Forest was a treacherous place, filled with all manner of creatures, from unicorns to thestrals, hippogriffs, and even werewolves - including her boyfriend.

Maddie knew she hadn't been thinking straight, but she quickly pushed those thoughts aside. "But enough of that," she said, offering a bright smile. "How have you been?" Making new friends was always a priority for Maddie, and she was eager to move on from her reckless behavior.

Tiffany nodded her head at the girl. Oh yeah she had tried to inform through this device where Maddie might be going. "Oh yeah, it was very silly of yours do it yes. You could have been in danger. Luckily Kole got there in time," she said with a small smile on her face. To be honest she was glad to be some help.

When Maddie asked how she has been. "Same as always, fine. Just trying to study for my exams a lot. Their coming up soonish," she said with a small smile. "But other than that just trying to make friends here and there," she added.

"Ah, the heroic baby brother to the rescue," Maddie quipped, a playful smile dancing on her lips. "Although, I can't say it was the brightest idea on his part. It ended up in a silly squabble between us." Such was the intricate dance of sibling dynamics, an innate part of what made family special. Despite their occasional clashes, Maddie couldn't help but appreciate Kole's foolish determination to protect her.

"Well, you're more than welcome to spend time with me anytime," Maddie warmly offered, her voice brimming with genuine affection. "I adore having friends around. It's always a delight to create cherished memories together."

Tiffany nodded her head there now. "Well yeah it wasn't the brighest idea for sure yes but at least you didn't do something more stupid there in the forest. Like got hurt or something," she ended up saying with a small smile. She doesn't really know much about arguing with siblings, hers is very young still. Not even at school yet.

"Thanks, I will think about it. I don't like big crowds. They can make be super awkward," she said with a small smile. She wasn't really someone who loved crowds for sure.

Maddie empathized with the feeling of awkwardness when getting to know new people, or when being the only one not in a romantic relationship within a group. It could certainly create some uncomfortable moments. "We won't make it difficult for you," Maddie assured, offering a warm smile to the other girl. "Perhaps we can start by hanging out together, just you and Elle, or you and Kole. That way, we can avoid any potential awkwardness that might arise from the relationship dynamics. How does that sound?"
