okay! maybe it's a date....

Using her free hand Maddison turned Mason's paper toward her, she carefully read through each sentence, occasionally jotting down notes in the margins.
As she read, she couldn't help but smile at Mason's enthusiasm for the subject. She knew that he was passionate about charms and she was determined to help him showcase that in his writing.
Maddison paused at certain points to ask Mason questions or suggest changes to the wording. She wanted to make sure that his ideas were coming across clearly and effectively.
"Hey, Mason, I really like this paragraph," she said, pointing to a section where he had explained the benefits of using bubble headed charms underwater.Maddison continued reading, occasionally chuckling at some of the witty comments he had included in his paper.
Overall, Maddison was impressed with Mason's work. She could see the potential for it to be even better with just a few tweaks. "You're really onto something here, Mason," she said, handing back the paper with her edits. "With a bit of polishing, this could be top-notch."

Mason looked at Maddie for awhile the girl kept editing his paper now there. He also listened to what Mads said and looked when she pointed something to him on the paper. He smiled when Maddie commented that he had actually done a decent job. "Thanks, Mads," she said and pulled her hand that he was holding closer to him and gave a small kiss on it it. He soon placed it back where it was and went back to work polishing his paper here now. So he could actually finally for once grade the paper after doing all the work basically mostly himself, just a bit of editing from Maddie.

As Maddie watched Mason make the edits she had suggested to his paper, she twirled her hair around her finger absentmindedly with her free hand. "I didn't do anything, Mason," she said, her voice soft and sincere. "You did that all on your own," she added, smiling at the boy. She could feel a pleasant tingling sensation on her skin from where he had kissed her hand earlier.

Once Mason had finished his paper, Maddie glanced over at the other books on the table. "Should we work on another assignment?" she asked, even though she didn't really feel like it. She knew it was the responsible thing to do, but her mind was still preoccupied with the lingering sensation of Mason's touch.

Mason kept editing his paper now according to those margining and notes what Maddie asked her to do. "Well u did edit but most of it was yes written by me" he said with a smile. Writing a paper wasn't so difficult really. It was a lot easier than he had thought.

He wondered what else they had to do here. "Is there a lot?" he ended up asking. To be honest he had no clue even what homework they had to do. He knew there was quite much to do. Even yeah Mason didn't really feel like doing this whole time's homework too but he had to get it done.

Maddie took a deep breath before listing off the various assignments she still had to complete for the upcoming week. "There's a paper for Care of Magical Creatures, Transfiguration, and a potion to brew for Potions," she said, her tone heavy with the weight of the workload. "I don't know how much more I can handle today," she added, letting out a small sigh.

As she spoke, Maddie felt herself drawn towards Mason. She slowly withdrew her hand from his and stepped closer to him, leaning back against the table. Their legs brushed against each other, and she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest at the proximity.

Mason listened what homeworks they had to do now. There was quite many still for sure. The boy knew he might have actually more of them. As it has been awhile since he has done homework. "Aww, that's a lot but we can focus on it later or some other time," he didn't want to overhelm himself or even Mads.

When Mads withdrew her hand then Mason looked at witn confusion on his eyes for a bit. But soon the girl was closer to him leaning against the table. Their leg brushing together. "Mads, what are you up to now?" He was really curious now. He looked at Maddie. He did want to kiss her so badly right now. This girl made her feel things he had never felt before.

Maddie smiled at Mason as she looked down at him, “standing here,” she spoke sarcastically, “what are you doing, mase?” Reaching up she twisted the ends of her hair between her fingers. She wanted to be closer to him and the table had been in the way. So she did the only natural thing and moved to his side of the table taking it out of the equation. She was still nervous about being with Mason, even in such a public setting, with it all so new. Maddie worried that everything could fall apart at any time as she woke up from a dream.

Mason kept looking at Mads and listened her. This could be dangerous to her. "oh yeah?" He asked from her. This girl was so close to her now. There was no more table between them. He placed his hand on her waist. "What you want to do now, Mads?" He asked and just looked at. Wondered what was going on her mind now. The boy ended up kissing her one cheek for just teasing her not her lips. Then forhead, then other cheek. Literally avoiding her lips right now.

Maddie's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as Mason's hand gently settled on her hip, causing her to offer a shy smile. "I'm not sure," she whispered softly, "I just felt so far away." As Mason's lips grazed her cheek, her heart skipped a beat before he moved to place a tender kiss on her forehead. "I don't think this is a good idea in here," she murmured, acutely aware of the crimson hue that now tinged her face.

Mason loved the effect she had on Maddie. To be honest he could keep doing it but yeah it wasn't really place for it. "I know but I had to. You are one who came so close to me here now. So you started it," he said with a smirk to the girl. "Maybe we should go somewhere else," the boy ended up suggesting there, even if he had no idea where they could go.
