Angus found Robert dressed and ready to go to St. Mungo's, and he was sitting in the dining room, lingering over a second cup of tea before he left for work.
"Angus, I didn't expect to see you this morning," Robert said. "So how are things at your house?"
"They're all fine," Angus said. "Robert, I need a couple favors."
"If I can, of course," Robert said. "What do you need?"
"Well, first, with your permission, I'd like to give the boys each a doubloon so they can get help if they run into trouble again, maybe portkeys to get home."
"Sounds reasonable, so long as they know how to use they--and how not to," Robert said. "No gong to Paris with them until i say so."
"Of course," Angus agreed.
"So that's the small request. What's the big favor?"
"How do you know there is a big favor?"
"I know you. Now, what is it?"
"Suzanne was in my sleep again last night," Angus told him. "I told Ruby and the boys she wasn't. I've not lied to them before, but they don't need the stress. I need a pass into Azkaban."
"Azkaban? Whatever for?"
"I need to see that witch," Angus said.
"Why?" Robert's face was serious.
"Suzanne said that old hag is actually related to her. Said something about a 'generational curse,'" he told Robert.
"Well, first of all, I wouldnt trust her any farther than I could spit her," Robert said. "And I don't think talking to that hag is going to get you the answers you seek. If you want to know, let's go about it a different way. Give me some time, and I'll let you know."
"Please dont say anything to Ruby or Jessie or the boys until we know if we need to," Angus said.
"On one condition," Robert said. "Regardless of whether you are straight with them or not, you need to be straight with me."
"Done," Angus said.
"Alright. Go see Michael about those doubloons and those portkeys," Robert said. "I'll let you know as soon as I know something."
