"He's not my husband yet," Simone laughed. "That is the whole point of this outing. Sketchpads and pencils and erasers first. That's fine. I'm ready whenever you are."
Andrew helped Angus freshen up and dress and then apparated him downstairs for breakfast. The boys seemed to be waiting on him.
"Angus," Sam said as Andrew pushed Angus to the table, "what are we doing this morning?"
"No clue," Angus said. "Did you have something in mind?"
"I wanna ride the hippogriff," Sam said.
"Me too!"
"Well, I don't know, Victor," Angus said. "Robert might have your head if you tried to ride a hippogriff with your leg in a cast. Have you ever ridden, either of you?"
"No, but how hard can it be?" Sam said.
"Well, maybe you could ride with me," Angus said, trying to figure how if he could manage to ride and take Sam with him.
"Have you lost your mind!" Andrew exploded. "What happens if you can't do it? You'll fall off and die!"
"Well, maybe not, Angus shrugged.
"You wont be able to rescue yourself or Sam. What happens if he slips? He'll fall off and die and you won't be able to do anything to help. You'll turn him into a banana or something stupid."
"How about nobody falls off and dies?" Edward said, trying not to laugh. "If Sam wants to go, I'll take him. And I won't fall off and die, and neither will Sam. Victor, you will just have to stay on the ground until you heal. That's just all there is to it. And Angus, you don't need to be trying to ride yet either."
"Thank you," Andrew said, shaking his head that Angus would honestly consider trying to ride a hippogriff in his shape. Edward laughed, knowing that Angus had very little fear of some things, and hippogriffs were certainly on that list.
"You two, go play chess or backgammon or something, would you, before Andrew has a stroke over your willingness to take risks," Edward told Angus and Victor.
