What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Unforgiveable curses are curses that, if cast on a human being, or any other sentient being, without official permission from the minister, result in a life sentence in azkaban. Thus they earnt the title 'unforgiveable'." Jess told the class, hoping he had it right. "They include the Cruciatus Curse, Imperius Curse, and the worst of them all, Avada Kedavra. The killing curse."

"It causes intense, excruciating pain. But, there is one catch. It will hurt, but not as much, if the caster doesn't mean it. If you want to reallly cause pain, you must mean it with all your heart." Jess said, hoping he got more points again

"Correct!" She turned her back and uncovered a cage and turned around and smiled, "I will demonstrate!" she picked up the spider, "engorgio!" she looked at the class, "I do not want any of you trying this, Just as Mr. Potter says, you can get a life time in Azkaban," she picked up the spider, "Cruciatus" Adaleen spoke softly, the spider let out a small scream and started to curl up in pain. Adaleen stopped and looked at the faces of the students.

Sophia didn't like the Unforgivable curses but she decided to to raise her hand anyway to get points for Gryffindor. As she raised she waited for Professor Valiteen to call on her.
