New kid on the block

Hey guys! So this is my last character for awhile - I SWEAR. Anyway, she's new. And I mean, new-new. Like I'm putting her first day at Hogwarts at March 1st. She's leaving Durmstrang because of threats against her and her family. Her sister is the head DE in Russia, which is probably only known by other Russians or Death Eaters.

She's a 4th year Slytherin, Russian, cute as a button, and cold as an iceberg. She hasn't exactly been encouraged to care about other people, so she might put up a warm front while actually feeling very little for the people she's interacting with. She's a DF to be, you betcha.

First thing's first, she needs to be introduced to the school, pref. by a staff member. Once that happens, I'll open her up and start some open threads and throw her around. But please let me know if you have ideas or plans for her.

Gretel's application

Okay so I have Darian, Charlotte, Darian, Irina and oh, did I say Darian? xD

I am not sure really  about Charlotte, I would need to think about that

If you need professor for anything maybe Irina could work since she is new head of Slytherin

And as for Darian, she is the  closest to his girl from dreams, angel sent just for him directly from heaven so he would flirt with her shamelessly and if that doesn't work, he is a good material for friend

I was hoping you'd bring up Irina! I think she'd be perfect to introduce Gretel.

That sounds good! Maybe to lead into it, Irina sort of hands Gretel off to Darian once she's helped her settle and asks him to show her around?

Haha, someone too smart for Clytemnestra maybe?

And I don't know, she and Christian seem to have some of that posh upbringing in common.

My other characters probably won't be much interested in her unless she makes them.

I can offer you Rose! She'd definitely be interested in the new face, culture and such and she'd try to befriend Gretel and make her feel welcomed in Hogwarts!

That could work. Maybe I can start thread in the common room where Irina introduce her to others Slytherins and say that she will need someone to show her the school? Of course Darian will be the first one who would say he will do that

I think she'd like to be seen in the company of Cly. I'm not sure if she's actually too smart, but certainly withholding enough to keep her motives at bay.

I may send her into the open Christian thread so she can agree that castle isn't all that great.

@Ophelia - Awesome! Gretel won't return any of that warmth, unfortunately, but she won't push help away.

She does not have to return the warmth at all! Despite Rose being so dreamy all the time, she knows that there are so many different people and their characteristics vary. She would not ask any sort of warmth in return, but would offer it to Gretel instead and already the fact that Rose won't be pushed away is good enough for her ^^
