Potions

Arianna walked briskly into the classrom, eyeing all students. She looked at a pretty Ravenclaw student near the back and noticed that the girl was slightly fidgeting; bemused, Arianna took this as impatientness and continued to the front of the class.

"Hello Class, I am Arianna. I'll be doing a few lessons in Potions due to inactiveness, but don't get to used to it. I'm sure Sue will be back soon." she said in a strict voice, and after seeing that the class looked eager to continue, she went on, "Now I see that you all have covered Amortentia, one of the most popular Love Potions, and powerful as Tereza said. There are not many more known Love Potions, or atleast I myself do not know of anymore. Today we will move on to a powerful Truth Serum."

Arianna stood at the front of the class for a moment, but soon began to pace around the room, weaving inbetween the desks, "Now, can anyone telll me what the most powerfull, and well known Truth Serum there is, is called?"

(OoC: Carrie, I'm sorry that I haven't specified the rules for characters. I'll be sure to add something, either in the F.A.Q, RolePlaying Guides, or Rules. Maybe all three of em'. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.)

(Spartan smashes through the door and he trips at the doorway. He rubs his head and groans.) "Sorry I'm late," he said "long story" (he sits at his desk)

Darren's hand instantly shot up and he said
"Veriteserum is the most powerful truth potion, 3 drops of it is enough to make the drinker spill out his secrets uncontrollably"

Lady Thereza took notice of what Darren said, and thought she could add something else, something more, but that was when she figured that the professor hadn't asked about the potion, she had only asked what it was called. Smiling, she decided that she wouldn't comment on this, as Professor Arianna would most likely give points to Darren, so then what would be the point of mocking down at him?

She wrote down the few words that Darren had said, because he was indeed very correct with his words, so there was no problem for her to write them down at her parchment.There wasn't much more to say, but Darren didn't mention one thing, and that she was very glad to write down after she wrote down his words. She thought of something more to write down, she did but was feeling unsure of why she did. She knew this stuff, why did she then write them down?

(Ill be taking over potions for a short time, We will start a new lesson now)

Proffesor Valent walked into the class taking out his wand and shutting all the windows then pointing to the ceiling making a dim light. He turned and faced the class. "Take out your potions book, and turn to page 21 Boil cure potions. ANd hurry! We will be starting simple today since you all know nothing and are most likely a load of old numbskulls"

Andrian walk into class and wondered where Professor Sue was and put his book down and opened it to page 21 then began to read. But before he read he said "Morning Professor...." Andrian said pasuing because he did not know the new teacher name.

Mr.Valent looked at Andrian.
"My name is professor Valent," he said then asked andrian smirking "So Can you tell me what is the difference between monkshood and wolfsbane?"

Thereza, who was sitting in the back under the light, which meant visible really, got herself ready by gathering her books and other stuff up at the table infront of her. As she listened to how professor Valent asked Adrenn to answer to this question, she decided to go first. It was however rude to her that the professor chose him to answer instead of having the question open for them all. So she rose her hand.

"Professor," she rested her hand nicely down at her lap, straightened up her back and held her head high as she spoke clearly. "The difference between monkshood and wolfsbane is none really. There is no difference that can be visisible for the eye or anything, as they both can be resembled as aconite. Aconite being an extremely poisionous plant and it has the shape of a flower. A special flower infact, the one kind you can find at all monk's cowls. Those who are werewolfs use this sort of plant, flower, so they can stay sane while during the change. That sort of posion is called Wolfsbane posion." Then she closed her mouth, took a second to think over her words, then she nodded and waited.

(Spartan walked down the hallway feeling kinda depressed as Potions was NOT his favorite class. He walked through the door.) "Hi Mr.Vallet" he said. (He sits at his desk and puts a red apple on it. Then his head fell on the table.

Mr.Valent smiled at Thereza. "Good job, at least you know your potion ingredients... unlike some other people. However, i do not want you to speak without raising ur hand again.. understand?" He said menacingly. "5 points to ravenclaw" he said striding back to the front of the class. He turned to Adrenn who just arrived. He flicked his wand and Adrenns head snapped up and his books zoomed out of his bag infront of him. "Turn to page 21 and hurry. So lazy but then again you are a gryffindor.." he smirked.
