GENERAL APPEARANCE: James is a tall, chiseled man with sandy brown locks of hair that has grown as far down as to pass his shoulders, the ends of which curl out all sorts of strange, bizarre directions. He wears a pair of glasses on occasion, with a slim metal rim and thin lenses. His crystal blue eyes are dulled, his eye brow nicked by a scar from an unknown origin. His body is slight lopsided- if one were to view his silhouette, they would perhaps find that his left should would end shorter than the right. This is because his left arm is an alchemic arm, an heirloom from his uncle, Alan Wake. It is wooden in appearance, divets and knobs swelling from it, forming what one would describe as "faces." Upon closer inspection, one may find more elements of this arm, but it would go without saying that it lacks the muscle and definition his right arm possesses. His skin is darker than it was before- the result of long days spent under the sun. His tan is uneven, focused mostly around his right arm, chest and face.

EARLY YEARS: James Wake Dermien comes from two old families- The Wakes, an old wizarding family from the back waters of London, and the Dermiens, the former core family of the Lancaster Werewolves. His parents were wed out of political desire between the heads of both families. After the death of He-Who-Must-not-be-Named, the wizarding community seemed ready to accept the werewolves into their inner workings at last, and the perfect medium was the most beautiful daughter of the Head, Penelope. Penelope was married to Terrence Dermien, then second heir to the Lancaster “throne.” They went off to live a less tumultuous life in Germany, after gaining their fathers favorable positions within the ministry. But in Germany, Aurors had gone on a wild Dark-hunt, slaying suspected Death Eaters. In their books, Werewolves were just one step away from Death Eater. The Lancaster Werewolves, who had, by then, moved to the same locale, were all slain on one full moon night. Of the aurors responsible, only one remains, but was since been placed in St. Mungo’s to undergo testing for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He made continuous claims that a five-year-old had killed his brother, another Auror that had attacked the village, but the veracity of such claims have been heavily suspect. He died of natural causes eight years later.

HOGWARTS YEARS: He went to Hogwarts. He did his NEWTs. He got his grades. It happened.

ADULTHOOD: As an adult, James Wake moved in and out of London, selling his skills as both a skilled wizard and alchemist. With his Uncle's tutelage, James is now an accredited Alchemist in several nations. Despite this, he is taken by a wanderlust, having wandered through warzones and abandoned ruins in Sub-Saharan Africa, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma, India, to name a few. His passports have a collection of permits, and his pockets are lined with galleons earned for less than creditable jobs.

Please re-write your character's Early Years to be about his early years, not a ramble about his parents. And just so you know, nobody would have been tested for PTSD in St Mungos at that time because the psychology department at St Mungos is only just beginning to gain credibility.
