Apollo smirked at his friend, wondering briefly what their father would have thought of their choice of companions. No one in this room would have been deemed 'appropriate,' including the twins themselves, if Blaise had ever found out. Better, then, that he didn't. Ever.
Margo's flirting was obvious, but then again, so was André's, so all Apollo could think, really, was that he didn't actually care so long as he didn't have to see anything. It wasn't like they weren't aware that Margo was the type to go ahead and do something that her parents would probably have been shocked to hear about. But Apollo found it bizarrely refreshing, and couldn't blame her.
Adults these days really did seem to take the stupidest things too seriously.
Although Christian looked like he had just tasted something sour, he didn't reject the idea. Instead, he glanced at his brother, and Apollo knew he was in. "Sold!" He announced, closing one hand into a fist and lifting it so he could bring it down in a gesture of total triumph at the same time.
"We'll sneak down for snacks, eh, Christian?" He checked, receiving a nod. "Somebody better pack me a sleeping back, too," he said seriously. "I'm not sleeping in a tent with you lot if you're gonna be throwing up whatever you drink, so me and the little brother over here will share."
"Brilliant," Christian countered sarcastically. "So when you start puking, I'll get to have all the fun."
Apollo grinned, and half an hour later their arms were full of sweets that they assured the house elves they were going to use for their common rooms in celebration. As treats, they claimed. Everyone had been working so hard, after all, and didn't they deserve a little something? And how rude were those Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, they asked as they hid their laughter, who hadn't come down to do the same thing?
Poor, gullible things. Christian felt bad, of course, but Apollo was too pleased with their haul to mind very much. They made their way down to the first floor, next, ducking into the alcove they always seemed to use when up to mischief, waiting for the others to show up with their promised items. Then, they'd just have to sneak out.
