Zoe was staring down at the floor and was a little stunned when someone called her name. She looked up to see Dae walking toward her. She was a little more shocked when he asked her to dance. "Uhm, Hi. Sure."

Dae smiled as he looked at her. The shock shone through her face like the edge of the sun in an eclipse. Dae grabbed her hand leading her out to the dance floor where his hand began to sweat a little. *great now I’m contributing to the salt in here* he thought to himself.

Zoe tried to fight the smile that was creaping up her to her face. She hadn't even know that Dae had noticed her not really. She let him lead her to the dance floor. Zoe hoped that she would be able to keep her nervous level down a little bit.

As Zoe and Dae danced she saw Mari waving over his shoulder. Zoe tapped it lightly with her finger and whispered, "I think Mari is trying to get your attention." Being on the dnace floor seemed so weird for Zoe. I mean after all the dances she had attended this was the first one where someone had asked her to dance. The smile crept higher and higher on her face. But Zoe tried her best to fight it off.

Zoe caught a glipse of a look on Mari's face. As soon as Zoe saw it she felt the blood rushing to her face. She was going to blush and not be able to stop herself. Zoe tried to recover by talking to Dae. "So, are you having a good time tonight?"

Jess snorted loudly at the site of Dae and Zoe dancing, thinking it was a good match. He then decided to voice that opinon. "They're a good match," He whispered into Mari's ear, twirling her around on one hand before taking her back in a waltz position, slowly moving in time with the music. "After this, do you want a drink?" He then asked her, smiling as it became apparent he was also sweating, boy, what a hot night it was tonight

Zoe contuned to dance and really began to enjoy it. She hoped that Dae was enjoying hisself too but he was so quiet. She didnt know what he was thinking. Part of it bothered her but she put it to the side and thought of only the moment.
