Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Sue knew that there would be no end of this argument. It would lead nowhere. It had been always like this between her and Darren. After he asked why she hated Gin, her smirk faded and disgust dawned on her face. "Do I have to tell you everything?" Sue asked raising an eyebrow.

"No, I don't really care," Darren replied honestly. "But Don't ever threaten her again." With that, he turned and spotted Jess talking to Gin, and made his way to both of them. "Hey guys." he said smiling. He hadn't seen Jess in a long time.

"And if I do?" Sue called at Darren's retreating back. She never usually talked with Ginevra. She sometimes wished to see her being tortured in front of her eyes. She had always wanted that after she had left the Death Eaters. For no apparent reason though. If she wanted then she could easily report her to the Dark Lord and then she would be killed off instantly. But she never did that. She liked to do some things on her own. To enjoy the effect would be her biggest joy.

Hearing a voice behind her, Ginevra spun around and saw that it was Jess. Smiling, she waved. "Hey Jess! It's been a while, how are ya?" she asked, her mood light and happy though she was already bored, just hiding it for others sake. Taking a sip of her drink, she placed it on the table and went to turn again at the sound of a voice she knew she could never get sick of. "Darren!" she said before even turning around, her smile growing bigger as she turned, though one of her feet got in the way and she went forward, catching herself half way to the floor. She had yet to try his tip, as she didn't think it'd word. Tripping was natural for her. "I didn't think you'd come, you're not the dance type." she commented with a laugh. "Both of you look good." she informed them, adding Jess in as she didn't want to leave him out.

Darren grinned as she turned around and tripped over her own foot. Knowing her so well, he knew she would trip before she actually did, and automatically stuck out his hand to catch her before she fell. "There was nothing else to do so I came," he said shrugging. It always got boring whenever there was a dance, everyone seemed to go to there, so Darren usually did too. "Thanks, you do too," he complimented. Her dress was a little plain, and she hadn't made her hair, but he could safely say she looked the best out of every girl in the room - to him anyways. "Did you come with anyone?" he asked her, not able to keep the anxiety out of his voice.

Shadow walked into the Great Hall wearing a normal red long dress.
Shadow really didn't mid dressing up she just doesn't like dressing up
all fancy for a stupid dance. She wouldn't be here if she wasn't bored
out of her mind and had nothing else to do with her time. As she walked
pass the dance floor she saw Darren and Ginevra and gave them alittle
wave as she walked over towards the punch and got her some.

Ginevra had been plain on purpose, hating dressing up and not being a fan of actually looking girly. It wasn't like she walked around looking like a boy, it was just that she didn't try to look good as much as most others girls did. "Well thanks, my dear." she teased, grinning back at him. She had to say she was glad he came because if he hadn't, well, it would have been that much more boring for her. Shaking her head as he questioned her, she had never heard the tone that came with this voice. "Nah, like anyone would ask me." she told him, shrugging as she really didn't think it was a bit deal. Looking over Darren's shoulder, she was just making sure no girl was watching him, as it was possible that he could have come with someone. "Note that most people know i'd probably kill their feet dancing." she added, laughing lightly. It was true, she was a horrible dancer because of her clumsy trait.

Darren liked the fact she didn't dress up much, he hated girls who overdid it. Smirking at her comment, he was really glad she was here, the dance might even be fun now. "Thats good," he muttered his tone now relieved. He had been worried Freddy might ask her. Or anyone really, he knew for one that half the school had, or used to have, a crush on her. Although she had made a good point people would rather not ask her to a dance, she was so clumsy she would constantly be falling over. "True," he said laughing. Following her gaze, he looked backwards to see what she was looking at. "What?"

Giving a small 'Mhmm.' as he spoke his opinon on it. Brushing her hair to the spot where it normally was, she didn't want it to be out of place, as she hadn't even done anything yet. Hearing about the ball, Ginevra had seen Freddy once since and so forgetting about it when she was with him out of excitment, she doubted he even knew about it. "Oh nothing. I'm just checking to see if some princess is going to walk over, claiming you as their date." she spoke, looking back up at him as he saw no one there.
