Reading in the libary - Page 6 Empty Re: Reading in the libary

Sue's cheeks flushed red with anger. It was Darren's nature to interfere in others business. But it was very annoying right now. Getting up to face him she looked straight in his eyes, "What's your problem? Why can't you leave me alone and go away?"she snapped in a cruel cold voice. It was very weird of Darren. When Sue would be in the mood of a row, he would just lose and walk away. And now when Sue was totally not in the mood he had decided to annoy her today.

After the threat of reporting to the Headmaster, Sue raised an eyebrow. That was now seriously lame. Who the hell in their early seventeen(if that was right) still complained to teachers? Only seriously uncool people did. And Sue had taken too long to understand that Darren was one of them. The Headmaster was a freak. The biggest freak (other than Darren) Sue ever knew. She didn't like his freakish ways. And punishment from him would be as freakish. But disgrace was a greater punishment for Sue. She would never bend down anyone. Except maybe the Dark Lord. But it was mere pretense. Leaving the library right now would mark her defeat. And she was never in favour of losing.

"Do you really think that I'm gonna shriek and beg mercy to you by giving up to the threat?" Sue said with a slight smirk in her voice. "So you have now adopted these lame policies to annoy me? Complain?" she mocked and laughed a cold one. "How very lame of you. I thought that you could not be any lamer after you befriended that Ravenclaw bitch. But alas, I think I was D*** wrong!" she had really guts to call Ginevra a bitch in front of Darren. She was pretty sure what would happen after that statement. But she didn't just care as long as she won. This was getting much fun now. Darren was very protective over Ginevra. And she was the weakest point of Darren which was teased by Sue about numerous times. Sometimes she felt jubilant knowing that Darren would never be able to know her weakest points.

Reading in the libary - Page 6 Empty Re: Reading in the libary

Post by Darren Sun Dec 21, 2008 9:43 am

Darren was starting to get really annoyed at everyone their, didn't they care that the headboy was standing there!? They were just going to the restricted section freely. Sue had totally made him lose his power, not only was she not listening to him, she was encouraging others to do the same. That wasn't gonna happen. "Deen, your not allowed here as you very well know, your a sixth year, this place is only for over-age students. Which means me, and none of you." Darren said, well aware he was being quite rude with hafiz, but he deserved it now, he was being disobedient. "And I'll take the book back as well, thanks," he added, snatching the book back without waiting for a reply.

For how Sue was acting, Darren thought he was being quite calm, usually he would have just threatened her with magic. He wouldn't of even come to talk to her, but he was still angry about last night when Sue had threatened to kill Gin. "Cause your not allowed here!" he said, forgetting to be quiet. He was now thinking of leaving, it wasn't worth it, and not to mention it was a total waste of time. The librarian was bound to find Sue soon after all. Sue would have to listen to her.

Blushing just slightly when she raised an eyebrow at his statement, Okay, he had to admit that was seriously uncool. He would never report anyone to a teacher, he always did stuff himself, but Sue was just not listening to him! It was so **** annoying. Well whatever, the threat still wasn't working, wow she was so stubborn!

Listening to her rant with a grim face, he was one step away from threatening her with Magic. He lost his control completely when she insulted Gin. He knew she was just saying that to annoy him, he knew she always took advantage of the fact he was over protective of Gin. But still, he always got really mad whenever Sue insulted her. He still didn't really get why Sue hated Gin so much, the way she talked about her! You'd think she'd done something really bad to Sue, but she had done nothing - apart from leaving the death eaters, but Darren had done that too. Taking his wand out angrily, he gave it a little wave, causing the book to fly away and go where it belonged and the chair and desk to fly away to another corner of the restricted section. "OK, get out now," Darren growled, pointing the wand to Sue now.

Reading in the libary - Page 6 Empty Re: Reading in the libary

The colour is Sue's face rose as she watched Darren. She didn't know why everything about him made her angry. It was quite annoying. She never really hated persons around her. She never cared about them. It was only him and his girlfriend. She couldn't stand either of them. She had millions of reasons to hate Darren. But she had only a few for hating Ginevra. She didn't know herself why she hated her. Ginevra had left Death Eaters like many other people. Sue never could hate her for that reason. Earlier she used to like her. But now everything about her seemed intolerable. Though her hatred was unfair, what was the thing that was fair in her life?

Seeing Darren feel uncomfortable for the way Sue had behaved, she felt a little happy. Darren was scolding random people now. Maybe that was the anger on Sue which was now getting on other people. To tease him more Sue sat back down and stared at him. A smile etched on her face seeing him fidget. Of course Darren was much powerful than Sue now, but maybe if he wasn't immortal then Sue could have put up against him. She did even now, knowing that her defeat was already written. Death didn't scare her anymore.

Knowing the librarian would find Sue she was not bothered. She got up and took a random book from the nearest shelf and pretended to concentrate on it ignoring Darren pointedly. Ignorance was not really Darren's thing. He liked to ignore, but was not used to being ignored. Feeling a luittle bored now, Sue read the first line of the book. Muggles use cars which have four tires...... Oh hell, were Sue's thoughts as she snapped the book shut. What a choice, a muggle's book? Getting up again she placed the book in its place and this time chose a book with the title "Metamorphmagus". She didn't care as long as it didn't relate with Muggles. She sat back down for a third time and her mind wandered off immediately after she completed the first sentence.

Sue looked at Darren and watched his expression while he ordered her to get out. It was really pleasurable to anger a person like Darren. Sue smiled at Darren and pushed his wand away with a finger. "You know Darry, duelling isn't allowed in the library and you should keep quiet. Shh now." she said in a low voice with an expression of fake surprise. "And you know I need to read this book. This is not even your library. You can't just order me to get out, right? I didn't even break any rule of the library, so you can't blame me. Right sweetie?" she whispered to him coldly. With a glare and a smile she again went back to her book, hoping dearly that Darren would get over with this now.

Darren felt pleasure at making Sue angry, it was revenge for how many times she had annoyed him. Though he was a little annoyed at her indifference even after being threatened with magic. He didn't know what else to do, so he just gave up trying to make her get out of the restricted section. He would just have to resort to annoying her till she got out, that seemed like a good plan. And it would be fun as well.

Darren knew he had been quite rude to Hafiz, but he really didn't care. He hoped he wouldn't tell the librarian. Not that she would do anything to him of course, Darren was the librarians favirote student. Not that he cared, but it was good to know even if he did get in trouble he wouldn't even be punished for it. Watching Sue as she picked up another book and put it back, he hated being ignored. People usually listened to him, most were intimidated by him, and they didn't even know he was a Riddle! Yet Sue wasn't at all. Scowling slightly, he continued to watch Sue, knowing his presence would annoy her more than his attempt to make her get out.

Snatching his wand out of her reach, he scowled. "Don't touch it, It'll get contaminated." Darren muttered. He was well aware that dueling was not allowed at the library, but it wasn't like he was going to be punished for it right? "Im well aware of that thank you," he said in a cold tone. She was quite right, it was not his library, but he could still order her out, he was head boy, even if no one listened to him. Still, he had decided to give up trying to persuad her to leave. "What do you do at Hogwarts by the way? You don't have any friends, no one likes you.. You hate reading.." Darren said conversationally. Sue was evil, mean and boring to anyone, no wonder she didn't have any friends. Darren was also quite mean to people, but for some reason everyone liked him, he didn't get why, but whatever.

Reading in the libary - Page 6 Empty Re: Reading in the libary

Biting her lip as Darren didn't yet go Sue frowned a little and shifted in her chair. She just wanted to get up and leave. But she couldn't just do that. Then she would be defeated. She was to stay there. And annoy him, and don't let Darren annoy him. Looking up straight in Darren's eyes. "Just for the sake of Graduating." Sue answered straightly. It was even a truth. She didn't like Hogwarts. She hated being in it. The fact that she hardly had any friends, didn't even make her a bit sad. She was not here to have friends.

Well, there was not points in having friends. What good did they do? Other than boring you with their problems. Or annoying you with their chats. She had lots of friends when she was a kid or when her father cared about her. But now, she didn't even care. She hardly cared for anything. She hardly found interest in anything.s It was rare when she would not be bored. "And I don't hate reading." Sue lied. Darren knew she did. But whatever, why was he poking his nose in her matters? "Why are you not going away? Your girlfriend must be pining for you." she whispered with a glare.

Darren sat on the chair next to her, leaning back on it and putting his legs on the desk. Someone who didn't know him would probably think he was showing off, but Darren wasn't really like that. He usually was stylish without even trying. He could tell Sue was getting really angry at his presence which was good. "Graduating?.. I doubt you'll pass your OWL's.." Darren muttered, rolling his eyes. Sue was in 5th grade (i think) like Gin, so they had to Pass Owl's. From experience, he knew this wasn't easy. Well it was for him, but he could tell by the way all his classmates fainted during exams it was quite stressful.

Darren knew Sue had no friends, she was avoided by most, and she liked it. It was odd. Darren was the opposite, he always got attention from everyone no matter how much he tried not to, it was irritating. "I know you do, don't need to lie to me," he said. Sue thought the most exciting things were boring, he didn't know what wasn't boring for her. So she would obviously think reading was boring - Darren didn't but he was different. "Shes not my girl friend" he repeated, for like the millionth time, everyone seemed to go on and on about that! He liked Gin, she liked him, but they weren't going to be a couple, ever. So it annoyed him why everyone continuously said that. "And I'm just here to keep company for my lonely friend.." he answered smirking.

Sue shifted her chair away when she saw Darren sit. His intentions were clear. He wanted to annoy her. The way he sat! Anyone must have thought like he owned Hogwarts or something. Rolling her eyes Sue pursed her lips. "You are scaring me! Oh god what do I do now?" Sue said sarcastically placing a hand on her chest and sighed. Sue knew OWLs were very hard, but she had been always good at studies. The difference was just a small one. She never showed off like Darren did. She just liked to keep it to herself. And she didn't fear O.W.L.s, she knew they were hard, but she would be able to pass it of course.

Darren was an attention seeker. He never did it intentionally Sue knew. But he was always attracted to the girls who run around boys. It was certainly not his faults. He was also much popular among guys who thought him as their rival. But Darren was a mystery. Sue no more tried to understand him now. It was ages before she had met Darren. She thought he was a friend until he back stabbed her. Numerous times. Hatred was thus natural. "you both walk around like a couple and then say she's not my girlfriend" Sue imitated Darren's tone. "Anyways, i don't care." She seriously didn't. Sue laughed at what Darren said about "friends". It was funny. "Friends? And company? Seriously your sense of humour is getting weirder everyday." she said shaking her head.

Darren didnt always mean to show off, it was just something he did absentmindedly, that wasn't his fault. He never bragged or boasted about anything, such as how good marks he got. He told other people they were stupid quite frequently, but that wasn't really boasting. It was the truth, most people at Hogwarts only cared about dating and blah blah. Sue was different, she didn't care about anything. "Well, Good luck on those anyways.. , you'll need it." he said smirking at her.

Darren didn't quite get why girls were always after him, he had made it quite clear he didn't date people, yet they always seemed to be hoping he'd change his mind. Freaks. He didn't even try to attract them, he never combed his hair, or show off. Sue wasn't one of those girls, but she was still annoying, even more so. Frowning when she said they walked like they were a couple, was it that noticeable he liked her? He thought no one knew he liked her. At her next comment, he smirked, suddenly everything had become clear to him. "Oh, I get why you hate Gin so much, your jealous of her, as I like her! And probably jealous of her on other things too" he said smugly. He was half joking of course, just annoying her, but half thinking he might have finally gotten why Sue hated Gin so much. There didn't seem to be another reason. "Everyone needs friends Suzy," he added , rolling his eyes.

Reading in the libary - Page 6 Empty Re: Reading in the libary

Post by Founder Sun Dec 21, 2008 12:27 pm

Dating was all that people were concerned more at Hogwarts. They dated and broke up and made up. It was all really annoying. Sue was indifferent about this. She didn't pay any attention towards dating. She didn't like it at all. She even didn't care if any boy would ask her out. Which was rare. Mostly, everyone hated her, or was scared of her. Sue liked that. It was much more pleasurable than dating. "Thank you." Sue said in a cold voice not looking at Darren. He was getting successful at annoying her but she would never go away.

"Jealous? Jealous of what?" Sue said rolling her eyes. Ginevra was a freak. There was certainly no reason for to be jealous of her. she smirked at Darren's guess. Your jealous of her, as I like her!, he had said. How very stupid of him! That was a bad guess. Sue never liked Darren in ANY way, dating preferences were out of consideration. Looking towards Darren with a smirk she faked an expression of shock, "How did you find out? OH yes! I'm jealous of her as you like her!" Sue imitated a shrill tone.

Her expression got a little bitter when he said everyone needed friends. Maybe, it was true. But it didn't apply for Sue. She wasn't exactly happy, but she was content in her own way. She needed no one else in her life. "Maybe," she replied quietly, "but I don't."
