"I will, but you need to help yourself too. Do what they say, hand us over your wand. Answer questions, I'll let Eviolette know." Louis had no idea who that Eviolette was, but she seemed pretty important to Imogen, so he guessed she was another another Death Eater, a lawyer maybe. Weasley wasn't exactly thrilled with the fact he just promised her he'll visit hornet' nest also known as D'Eath Manor but he needed to do that, otherwise she might spill something about him being connected to the Death Eaters, and that would be utterly unacceptable and it would most likely be the end of his career. Louis found helping Imogen more an obligation than a thing he really wanted to do, at least not until he found out if she's guilty or not. Since he was already going there, he might as well find out if they know something about Corrine.
Louis left Imogen with Kace and walked back to the other woman, he now knew was named Maude Prichard, with serious expression on his face. He didn't like journalists, especially journalist that showed at place that was under investigation, but he couldn't do anything about her being her, although every moment she spent there meant she could collect a little more information for an article she'd most likely write soon. "Ms. Prichard, I'm Louis Weasley, an auror, could you please tell me more about the scene you saw earlier?" He made sure to assure there's fair share of space between the two of them and the muggles, that wasn't hard though, since it seemed like they're competing for Richard's attention, wanting to be the first one whose side of story he'll heard. Poor guy, Louis saw him a couple of times when he visited his cousin, but never spoke with him. His job seemed like a though one, he wondered how is Hugo handling all that. Louis was sure he would never want to switch places with either of them, being an auror is dangerous, but doing things to human's mind seemed more dangerous.
"Also, I don't want to insult you, but we would really appreciate if you could hand your wand to the obliviator. It's a routine check we need to do." He compassionately smiled, knowing he'd probably refused if he was asked the same if being on her place. Many witches and wizards don't feel comfortable handing their wands to someone else, and he was no exception. "I'm not sure how could your brother help us in solving this, considering he wasn't here when this happened. Was he?" Louis lifted an eyebrow, waiting for her to either confirm or deny his statement, although he guessed he was right on this one, he still hasn't met a journalist who would left a scene upon seeing something happening. They were more like sharks, in his mind, searching for blood that would lead them to their next meal. "Yet I assure you, we'll consider that offer."
