Hiya folks. Here's a list of the characters I'm currently using. I dropped several folks and many of my current characters have apps that don't really apply anymore. I might update those over my break in March but for now I'm just gonna give some stats and info about folks and let you guys sort of have a think about 'em.
NOTE: Want to see them all side by side? Here's a set http://www.polyvore.com/what_in_world/set?id=193055196 which has little notes about each of them.
ADRIENNE:
19. Ex-Ravenclaw. Addie nearly got fired from her job as a reporter for the Daily Prophet, but she's trying to redeem herself. She has worked at Hogwarts for a term as Transfiguration professor in Keiran's stead when everything fell apart for him.
APOLLO:
15. Slytherin. Apollo is a flirt, though he does have a bit of a problem. Lily Potter scratched him last spring, revealing herself as a werewolf, and now he is incredibly paranoid. He's afraid that he'll have cruel tendencies because of the full moon each month, but it's something of a self-fulfilling prophecy and now he just becomes a horrible jerk around that time. Otherwise, he's allowed to make fun of Christian, but nobody is allowed to cross a line. He hopes that someone will come along and sort his twin out, but isn't sure that Christian would go for it. Apollo wants a career in medicine, not in business as is expected of him, and sometimes purposefully breaks rules his father's set just to irk everyone involved.
AVERY:
26. Ex-Durmstrang student. Avery has a mix of guilt and aggression stewing inside of her. She refuses to believe that her husband has died, but now that her best friend has disappeared to try and find him, she's both furious and worried. It doesn't help that Millie has it out for her because Avery hasn't gone to help them. Instead, she's staying in London and snooping about to try and find out who might have it in for Robin and Keiran.
BENTLEY:
Ben is 25, a businessman, husband and father. He and Baldric have adopted two children, but it isn't lost on either of them that it's risky business. Bae's past comes back to haunt him sometimes, and Ben's father is never really out of the picture. Especially after Ben made the stupid decision to join the Death Eaters full-stop. He is now a secret double agent, loyal to the Order.
CHRISTIAN:
15. Hufflepuff. Christian went to save Lily despite the fact that she does not feel the same way that he does about her. Or he thinks he likes her, anyway. It is entirely possible that he'll change his mind at some point, because he falls quickly and hard, and always for someone who is bad for him. He thinks that he is a fixer, but really he just gets himself into drama on accident. At the start of the year, Christian was in a really bad Quidditch accident, so flying and the sport in general terrifies him, which is bad considering he is supposed to work at Quality Quidditch Supplies in summers in place of his brother Apollo.
DARREN:
21, Darren is an ex-Ravenclaw, and a student of Social Psychology at AETAS (a made up Wizarding University). He is currently rather obsessed with Erika Dixon, who he calls his "project," (especially in front of her) and is basically your average douche. He thinks he is smarter than he is, loves getting a rise out of everyone he can. Romantic feelings are lost on him, and he has likely been oblivious as all heck around the ladies over the years. Heaven help whoever thinks he's their best friend, and Merlin knows whatever girl has a crush on him is doomed.
DECLAN:
30, Ex-Gryffindor, Owner of the Leaky Cauldron. He's currently being haunted by his none-too-pleasant past (aka, his ex), while trying to figure out how to have some semblance of a relationship with Dom Weasley. His best friend is Henry Tross, who has just been on an adventure without him, and who is much too protective. But Declan is like an older brother to Henry. Dec is moral as all get-out, and has a temper he'll deny ownership of.
ERIK:
21. Ex-Hufflepuff. Thinks he is the father of a three-year-old named Abraham. He is wrong, of course, thanks to his parents and some dark magic, who tricked him into taking a potion that replaced his memories and put a block on the old ones. But recently, he met Victoire Weasley, who looks exactly like the woman in his false memories, and they're working to find out why it's her and who put them there. He doesn't know that Abraham isn't his son, though, or whose he is. Not yet.
GILBERT:
Gil is 21, and the editor of the Daily Prophet. Ex-Slytherin and middle child. He has a very addictive personality, so he's a massive gambler, can be talked into drinking and pretty much anything. His only no-go, really, is smoking. He hasn't gotten into hard drugs, though, because he thinks they're harder to hide from his sister, Maude. He's past trying to hide things from his younger sister Iveagh, though. She may be a squib, but she is incredibly observant and has taken up a job to make up the money that Gilbert fails to give their father. Maude is quite the opposite (see below).
HADLEY:
24. Muggle. Sister to Audriana Swan, the once-elusive criminal that is now locked up in Azkaban. She's quite befuddled, but refuses to let people wipe her memories and send her back home. She works for the Muggle Prime Minister, and was assigned to watch the Ministry of Magic. She's trying to live on the DL, but is a bit clumsy, a bit of a flirt, and a bit too interested now.
HENRY:
27. Ex-Gryffindor. Head of the Department of International Games and Sports, his best friend owns the Leaky. Henry, on the other hand, is being his rogue-ish, dangerous self. He's a member of the Order, and tends to go off on missions without permission, determined to protect other members and his community members as he cares more for them than he does for himself.
JANE:
23. Ex-Beauxbatons. Jane is a party planner, likely because she goes to so many of them. Clubs and pubs are her typical hangout spots, although she does spend time with her brother and their friend/boss. She is open to pretty much anything, though she isn't convinced that relationships are worth it or realistic. She is currently working for the Death Eaters because she's always looking for opportunities to move up in the world and thinks they can help her. If she's being honest, she has no idea what she wants besides one-upping her mother.
KATHERINE:
17. Sixth year Ravenclaw. Kit has been held behind a year due to an illness that had her in hospital for a little over a year. Her sickness comes from the fact that her family is Pureblooded, so it's related partially to her genes but also the fact that her body rejects the magic inside her. The healers haven't come to that conclusion yet, however.
KEIRAN:
Ah, my boy. Kegs is 28, an Ex-Slytherin, and no longer missing. He has worked as a Transfiguration Professor, left to open a secret school for magical creatures once-banned from Hogwarts, came back to be Deputy Headmaster, had a post created for him at the Ministry (Secretary of Ministry Relations) but then took over his own department when the DWN was formed. He has seen all sorts of career paths, but now is entirely unemployed and wouldn't have it any other way. He has nearly divorced his wife twice, but they have three children and after being missing for over four months, he has zero intention of leaving his family's side any time soon. He's considering writing out all of the insane things he has lived through, but is mostly focused on getting back to his old self. Or close to it, anyway.
LYLE:
31, Ex-Beauxbatons. Professor at a muggle college in south London. Potentially up to things with James Potter. Lyle is Jane's brother, and the middle child in their family. He's pretty easy going, doesn't want to take sides when it comes to the Order or the DEs, but he also doesn't know that Jane has started helping them out. On the whole, he's just chill.
MAI:
22. Ex-Gryffindor. Daughter of Merton Graves (the Cellist from the Weird Sisters), Mai has always been incredibly talkative as a means of compensating for her fear of being unimportant. Her mother has always been very tough on her, and now that her parents are divorced she tries to avoid them until she can no longer help it. She's living with Theodore Rookwood and is the mother of his son, Connor. She also is taking on the mum role for his daughter Esme. She's a lawyer at the Ministry and considers herself engaged to Theo, even though it hasn't been expressly stated yet.
MAUDE:
Maude is 23, and the eldest of Prichard children. After their father sort of fell apart, she enlisted Gilbert's help in making up the slack and paying their dues, so to speak. Each month, they are meant to each give their father the same amount. She has no idea that Gilbert has been failing. She is too invested in her job as a journalist and TV personality. Plus, she may have a bit of a crush on her boss, which isn't helping her when she needs to pay attention to her brother's digressions from expectations. She's bubbly and outgoing, and interested in helping. She is an Ex-Hufflepuff and a member of the Order!
OLIVER:
22, Ex-Hufflepuff, Second-in-Command (but also Ex-Leader) of the Order of the Phoenix. He's recently bought Flourish & Blotts with Keiran, and is currently planning his proposal to Alice Rousseau despite the chance that Elijah might come in and ruin everything. He is a bit of a try-hard, and a perfectionist when he comes to his novels. Oliver also found out a while back that he is unable to have children, and isn't really over it, regardless of what he tells Alice.
TOBIAS:
24, Ex-Gryffindor, Captain of the Magical Law and Enforcement Patrol. He lost both his wife and his daughter to a fake vaccine trial that was led by St. Mungo's whilst under Gideon's control. Colleen, his daughter, had an illness at the time that her mother went through with the trial despite Tobias's wishes, so her immune system was shot. It wasn't enough to keep her from catching what Haleigh had. Tobias resents Oliver for surviving, and despises St. Mungo's and the Ministry. He still works there, though, despite himself, hoping that he can somehow make a difference someday.
