Family means nobody gets left or forgotten Empty Family means nobody gets left or forgotten

Post by Beatris Greyback Sun Jan 03, 2016 6:10 pm

Days have become tiresome and overwhelmed for Miriam.
After she got up at five o'clock in the morning, she took a shower and after that just sat on the floor next to the bed in her room. The place was deserted.
She has a huge apartment with four bedrooms, but there is no one with whom she could shared it. Her house is quieter than the cemetery.
She was so thinking for some time while clock finally rang.
Of course, she should just get up now, but these days she just can not sleep.
People say just very unlucky or those who is in love can not sleep. Miriam is obviously a big setback because she can be classified into both categories.
She finally got up from the floor and got dressed. She looked in the mirror and for a moment as if she saw herself, as she really is.
Beatris Greyback.
Even after five years with the new identity which Death Eaters gave to her, she's not used to the realization that no one remembers her, the really her, it's just as if she never existed.

Day on the job was extremely difficult. Miriam has always hated any form of exercise and now she is forced to pass through a series of hard training to become auror.
She never wanted to be auror, she was completely satisfied while she was working as a waitress. Certainly not overly ambitious, but with the job, her husband and children, she was completely happy.

She came to home at about three o'clock in afternoon.
As soon as she walked in, her Maltese Kacey welcomed her with the joyful barking and waving his tail.
"Hello to you," she laughed and then bow and stroked him behind the ear. It is the only living thing that still rejoicing her arrival.
"I'm going to take a shower and then take you to the park. It's a beautiful day," she laughed once more and the dog looked as if it fully understands. Dogs are really very intelligent creatures.
Once again she went to her room and took the pure stuff and then went to the bathroom to take a shower.
Every part of her body is hurt by the training, and what is worse, she knew that tomorrow will be just worse.
After twenty minutes in the shower, she got dressed and found a leash for dogs.
Through the exit from the kitchen took an apple and then headed out with the dog.

Diagon Alley was full of people, as usual. The people here have always been fascinating, all hurrying somewhere and with random view it looked as if they had no idea where they are going.
She took off leash from Kacey and then stopped at one booth to buy hot chocolate for herself.
When she turned, the dog was gone.
She looked around and saw Kacey running to a girl.
"This is bad," she murmured quietly and then ran toward the dog.
"Kacey! Stop! Come back!" she said, almost in a panic.
In this situation there are two problems:
The first is the fact that a small dog such as Maltese can be easily lost in the crowd.
Another is that running towards a girl who may be terrified by dogs.
Because of this, she ran as fast as possible taking care not to spill her chocolate.

Family means nobody gets left or forgotten Empty Re: Family means nobody gets left or forgotten

Liza was much more of a morning person than her mother, whereas her mother took hours to finally get out of bed the blond girl would be up and dressed with breakfast ready long before that point. She didn't know if it was the Greyback side that caused the early rising or if it was just something specific to her bug she always liked watching the beautiful sunrises in the morning while she drank her tea. Today they were going to Diagon Alley again to do a bit of shopping which was exciting to the blind girl because she loved to visit the often busy row of shops and see all of the wonderful things they had on display in the windows.

It had taken quite a bit of harassment and badgering but she at last managed to get the woman out of bed and prepared to eat breakfast before they headed to their shopping destination. The two sat at the kitchen table just like they always did when Liza was home, a left over piece of her childhood where the only way to keep the excitable and hyper child eating her meals was to force her to sit at the table for meals.

"Maybe well see Daddy there! Wouldn't that be amazing?" She commented while cutting up her pancakes and pouring the syrup on them. "And I can pick up that book about the history of quidditch that I saw last time!"

"Did your father give you money again? It's odd that he claims to have none yet always somehow manages to give you something whenever you see him." Her mother replied in a calm sounding voice that she recognized as anything but.

"No Mummy, Nammie gave it to me for helping her with the papers. Daddy doesn't have any - I paid for dinner last time I visited him." Liza hated when her mother brought up money this way, shouldn't it be enough that the girl finally had her father in her life and they were reasonably close? But she kept that to herself and put a smile back on her face. "Can we please go to the dress shop on our way home? I love seeing the pretty dresses!"

At last the woman finally was ready to go to Diagon Alley. Liza was estatic to look at everything, running from one store to the next like a young child to take it all in as if the cold didn't bother her one bit. Her mother just left the girl to zig zag through the crowd so long as she stayed in the designated area.

The girl had been staring at some of the fancy robes displayed in the window of the robe store when she heard an insistant barking behind her. She stared in confusion at the small fluffy dog that sat behind her. "Hello there, but where did you come from? Did you lose your mum?" She bent down to pet him gently, giggling as the dog started licking her face. Although she had always loved dogs - or any animal really - her mother had refused to let her have one because of both the cost and the time that went into one, she had allowed her to have a cat only because it came with her when she went to school and Liza did all of the care that came with it and incurred most of the costs herself.

"Kacey, I mean it, you'd better come back here!" she said loudly once more before she finally got to the dog.
He was playing with a little girl while her mother was obviously angrily watched the scene.
"Excuse me, he is not running away never, certainly he got excited because of the crowds" she apologized to the woman and then turned back to the dog and the girl.
"Hey you guys, thank you for conserve him until I arrived," she laughed when the dog finally got to her, and she again put the leash on his neck.

"I see you met Kacey. Hhe's very playful dog," she smiled and looked at the girl.
The girl looked like she loves animals, but apparently her mother defended to buy her a pet. Miriam knew what it was, nor her mother never wanted to buy any animal. However, Miriam did not mind because ishe was not overly loved animals until she received the Maltese as a gift.

"I'm Miriam" she extended a hand to the girl.
The little girl is certainly still went to school, she may have had 12 or 13 years, but still needs to be polite. Miriam was many times convinced that children are sometimes a lot more mature than adults.

"He's a very nice dog - really likes giving kisses." Liza replied while wiping her slobbered on face off onto her sleeve.

"Oh Liza, your jacket." Her mother winced in horror at her daughters actions though it didn't stop the blond.

"I'm Elizabeth Greyback... Everyone usually calls me Liza or Elle though - well usually Nammie is the only one who calls me 'Elle' cause she says Liza sounds like something you would call a badly behaved girl and an angel should be called something sweeter like Elle." The young blond reached out and shook her hand before turning back to her mother. "Mummy you can go over to the bookstore now, I promise I'll be safe and follow the rules. I just want to pet the puppy a little longer."

It was said with a pleading tone that the woman had obviously heard many times before. "Fine. You do not leave this Alley. I don't care if your father appears and promises you a million horses to go with him you stay right here okay?"

"Okay Mum I promise I won't leave." She promised with a wave as her mother gave Miriam one last suspicious glance then departed for the bookstore, disappearing into the crowds around them. After her mother's departure Liza crouched back down to pet the dog some more. "I like Kacey, hes a very nice puppy. I have a kitty-cat at home though I only have her because I go to school most of the year so mummy doesn't have to take care of her."

"Yes, I'm sorry about that, he just wants a lot of attention," she laughed and shook her head.
Her eyes turned to the blonde's mother who apparently was on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of a little dirt on girl's jacket.
"Do not worry ma'am, it can easily be repaired" she took out her wand and with one swing cleaned Liza's jacket.

Miriam looked interested in the girl. Greyback? Another member of the family who knows? She wanted to ask more about that a little girl but when she heard the hatred in her mother's voice at the mention of the girl's father, decided to remain silent until there alone with the girl.
"Well, I'm glad to met you Liza or Elle. Do not worry, Liza is the right name for the blue angel like you," she laughed and shook her head.
She laughed and looked at Liza and Kacey.
"I actually never liked animals. Kacey is a gift from my ex-boyfriend, but this dog is impossible to hate" she looked around and saw near a cafe.
"Would you like some juice? Across the street is a great coffee shop with a garden so that Kacey can be with us, and your mother will be able to see you. I want to talk to you about a lot of things," in fact, has to examine the girl about her family to make sure that they are related.

"I can't imagine not liking animals, they're so sweet and they don't lie or act cruelly like people do." The blond continued petting the dog. "Mummy just doesn't like the cost or how much work it takes to have one... But shes had me for thirteen years and I know kids cost a lot - she told me that once." It didn't occur to her at all that it was something that she shouldn't really be sharing with someone she didn't know. Liza was terrible at figuring out what was proper to inform others of and what wasn't though she didn't mind at all. A bright smile at the other woman when she glanced up from petting the dog to her.

"I do like juice..." Liza said to herself quietly as she thought about what the woman was offering. Her mother had told her many times that going with strangers was dangerous but this woman seemed harmless and nice and it wasn't far from where they were - she could see the coffee shop right there, it was within the boundaries of Diagon Alley where she had been told to stay - so at last the girl nodded at her new friend. "Okay, let's go get some juice!"

The girl stood carefully, rubbing her hands over her coat to make sure it was still clean. One of the rules she had more trouble with of her mother's was managing to keep her clothing clean and unwrinkled especially when she had so many cool things to look at or play with no matter how hard she tried she almost always spilled or stained or wiped who knew what on her clothing. Liza smiled brightly as they began walking through the crowd towards the coffee shop where they would get something to drink and talk.

"You're too young to think like that about people, but on the other hand, the sooner you learn, the sooner you will stop believing in the lies and the less you will be disappointed," Miriam said honestly.
"The girl is very smart, although she has problems because she talk too much without thinking about words which she said. Clearly she is willing to share information about herself without having to consider whether she is talking to the right person.

Miriam did not speak on the way to the cafe because she kept trying to keep her eyes on her dog who happily scurried around her feets. Finally, she raised him and took in her hands to vaffe because it's probably the only way not to lose him.
When they sat down to a table, Miriam looked at the girl.
"What would you like to drink? I heard here they make the best hot chocolate in the world," she laughed a little as she looked at girl, trying to find some similarities between them, but failed. The only similarity are eyes, Miriam noticed that girls have the same shade of blue eyes as her daughter.

"So you're Greyback? You know, my real name is Beatris Greyback, my father was Fenrir Greyback, the famous old werewolf. Is his name may be familiar to you?" She angled her head as she looked at the little girl. As far as she knows, Fenrir Greyback was the only that could have a girl her age, the oldest Greyback, Ariel was too young, but again, miracles are possible.

It was a quiet walk over to the cafe as Liza followed the dark haired woman. Instead of filling the trip with her usual chatting about nonsense the blond managed to stay happily silent until they finally were seated. "Maybe I could have hot chocolate, I don't usually drink it though because Mum says that it's way too many calories and not worth it in the long run. Its important to watch what you eat or you'll end up like my grandfather - he died because he ate too much." she wrinkled her nose as she said it, though she had never actually met the grandfather she spoke of it was something her mother had told her on multiple occasions. It had never occurred to her that her mother's obsession with calories and looking a certain way might be a bad thing.

"That's my daddy's name too!" Liza commented excitedly but paused in confusion immediately after. "Wait... You said your name is Miriam... Why would you lie about your name? Thats not a very nice thing to do when you meet someone for the first time." She couldn't understand why the woman would have told her something that wasn't true especially if she had wanted them to talk to each other. Her father had managed to put one self preserving thought into her mind about everything he had told her and that was if someone was lying about themselves to you they must have an ulterior motive - and it was hardly ever a good one.

If this woman really did share the same father then that would make her one of the sisters she had only recently found out might exist. It was a weird thought that she had lots of brothers and sisters that she had never met and hadn't grown up knowing about. She did like the idea of siblings after spending a childhood alone with just her mother and grandmother especially when she had only just met her father for the first time during the summer.

Miriam looked at the girl interested in trying to refrain from laughing.
"You know, it's nice to take care of the diet, but look at me. I eat everything, regardless of calories, of course, in moderation, and I'm totally healthy," she laughed and called the waiter and ordered two cups of hot chocolate with whipped cream.
She turned to the girl, her sister, and she continued to listen carefully.
It seems that her mother is really careful about what she eat, but the child should be able to enjoy in sweets, right?
Now she could not help but wonder whether Kace so raising their children. He has always loved pancakes, probably kids love it too, like everything else.

She laughed when she heard Beth's comment. Well, this girl is obviously very smart.
She looked at her before answering.
"My real name is Beatris Sophie Greyback, but five years ago I changed the name to Miriam Levine. I told you my real name only because I realized that we were related," she shrugged and smiled.
"If you want we can stay in touch, you're my second sibiling I've ever met and I'm very happy about it. One day, when you grow up, I will try to explain to you why I had to change identity in order to protect the ones I love. I hope you realize that it must remain secret that I am Beatris, "she looked at the girl seriously.
Here she is now, five years hiding her true identity, and fully confided to the girl she knows only ten minutes.

Even after so many years, Miriam was not used to the fact that around the world there must be a lot of her brothers and sisters that she does not know.
Elizabeth and Ariel she met by chance. The same can be said about her father.
She wondered how much longer her relatives she will meet by chance, but next time she should be careful when talking about herself.

Liza frowned at her sister for a moment before finally giving her another bright smile. "I'm really good at keeping secret. My Nammy - that's my grandma - always tells me everything because she knows I won't tell anyone anything when its a secret. You're my big sister and my friends say that sisters always keep each others secrets even if they don't like each other but I like you." The girl paused for a moment in thought then leaned closer to the woman across from her, "do you like me too? If we're sisters I want us to be nice friend sisters not yucky mean grumpy sisters."

"Daddy always says that he's not a very nice person but I don't think that's true... He's always super nice to me and that's got to mean something right?" The girl asked her older sister, looking for the woman to reply positively to the thought she had voiced. "Mummy says he's a bad person because he doesn't have any money and sometimes when he does have a little bit he gives it to me so I can buy something but mummy thinks he has a lot of money. Did your mummy do that?"

The girl was so excited to meet her sister - the thought that this might not actually be true without some sort of proof had not occurred to her yet - that she hadn't even stopped for a moment to think about what she should or shouldn't ask the woman. There was so much she wanted to know about her older sister and what she knew about their father or about their shared ancestry. "Do you know daddy? Have you met his friends? Some of them are really nice but there's some people I wonder how he even became friends with them."
