What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. "Well," he said thoughtfully, "Abbey and Dakota have had a separate room for awhile now because they're just a little older. So, if we shuffle the kids around a bit, and put Julia in with Abbey and Dakota, and move Daniel and Benjamin in with Robbie and little Michael, then that leaves this room empty, at least for the time being. We could put Scott and Craig in here, and that would save the other kids from being awakened by the babies.

"The other kids' rooms are huge, so they've got plenty of space to share. And we've always raised them to share and taught them to share from the outset. They really don't know any other way. They'd be fine together. And, if we need furniture, we can borrow from one of the empty bedrooms for the night and go get what we need in the morning. Khaat and Brian have accounts in Diagon Alley, so we can charge whatever we need to the house accounts.

"You do know that means we might have to do a little alterations in the decorating to freshen things up a bit for the kids' rooms, though, right? The boys are into pirates because of a storybook Robert's been reading. And the girls are into pink, purple, and kitties. Strictly girly. We should be able to handle that, I'm guessing."

"That makes it really easy then. Do you think they'll be excited about two new additions to the house? I know Rose will, she'll probably come in here for a few hours to play with the twins. At least the kids will be able to get some sleep so they don't get woke up by the babies." She walked around trying to think of what furniture they would need in there. A couple of dressers for sure but she didn't know what else they would need for the babies. "We'll need some toys for them, Do you think that Khaat kept some of the toys? I know I have a few but not much." She felt like she was mumbling. "Sorry I know I'm rambling."

She nodded softly feeling reassured that the other rooms were huge. "That's good, at least they won't feel like they are being forced to share or anything. What kind of furniture will the babies need? I know they'll need dressers but I'm at a loss of what else they would need." She ran a hand through her hair trying to figure out what it was exactly a baby need in means of furniture.

"Yeah that would be a lot of fun to do new decorating for the kid's rooms. Maybe we can see if we can find a corner in the room and build a pirate ship? For them to play on? Then maybe build boats that fit their beds? Make it seem like they are dingy's for the ship? For the girls, hmm...pink, purple, and kitties. Let's see what kind of things we can conjure up for the girls." She said thinking about something they could make for the girls but somehow coming up empty.

"I think with the beds and the dressers, if we add a changing table, and a comfortable rocker or two, maybe a toybox, and maybe a night light, we'd be good in here with the essentials. You'll find Khaat and both of her parents often coming in here at night and sitting in the rocker with a baby, saying they couldn't sleep. Funny, but once they see the kids are alright, they doze off, rocking the baby, and its all good generally. They all usually sleep. Grownups and babies. They've given me the same excuse for years, as if I'm really going to buy it."

"Anyway, yeah. I love the idea of doing the boys beds in the shape of dingys. Paintings on the walls of oceans, ships, and all of that. There's a lot you could do with that.

"I think, since I end up spending so much time with Abbey, I have probably a better sense of what she'd like. I think if we use pink and purple as colors, and do princess beds with chiffon drapes around the beds, and add splashes of color, maybe we can use fabrics in the bed duvet and the draperies that have kitties printed on it. And we can use all sorts of stuffed kitties, art prints with kitties, or get a mural painted of a tea party for stuffed toy kitties...I don't know. Now I'm rambling," he laughed.

"That sounds really good with those things. The rocking chairs maybe should be put next to the cribs so it's easier to put them to bed when they fall asleep." She suggested as she smiled. "With me not getting much sleep at night, I might be in here too. Maybe they don't want to admit it to you that they just come in here to hold the babies." She giggled as she thought of them sneaking in here to sit with the babies. "Maybe once the shock has worn off we'll see Michael in here with them."

"Well there's a lot you can do with the pirate idea and it tends to rather easy to come up with something. Maybe a picture of pirates on the deck of a ship. Also maybe we can get the kids to paint up some pictures to hang in there of pirates?" She thought of the kids making paintings or drawings of pirates or ships.

"I don't if they are into dress up but we can get a little Armoire for them. They can put their dress up things in it, we can paint it pink and purple with kitties in tutus?" She said trying to figure out something for the girls. "It sounds like a plan with all those things for the girls. Well it seems like we both are rambling today." She smiled at him. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist laying her head on his chest.

"Putting the chairs next to the bed is probably a good idea because they will be well used. Robert, in particular, is a horrid insomniac. He comes here a lot at night and just sits and watches his grandchildren sleep. Says its the most peaceful place he knows.

"I think getting the kids to do drawings is a wonderful thing . You know, my grandfather knows some sort of a spell to transfer drawings like that to the wall. Used to do it on the walls at Christmas until my grandmother made him take them off. Personally, I never learned that spell. Didn't want to. I didn't want that sort of magic to ever go away. But, he knows it. Or--we could do Brian's thing. He gives kids the crayons and lets the draw on the walls and then simply makes it disappear when they're done. We could let them do the drawings themselves."

He listened to her ideas about the girls' room. "They'd like that. They've got a music box with a ballerina, and they like it, especially if it storms and they get scared. They dont' scare much, really. So far, they're only really bothered by storms and by werewolves. Toddlers shouldn't have to deal with werewolves." When she wrapped around him, he just naturally wrapped around her.

"I don't know, Bella," He sighed. "Ten kids in the house, hippogryffs in the barn, me chasing werewolves in the dark. Its a crazy family you picked."

"Yeah and it would be a good place to watch over the children when Robert comes in here." Bella said smiling softly. "Sometimes it is the most peaceful place, I remember a few times I fell asleep in Rose's room when she was born."

"That's really impressive that your grandfather knows a spell like that." She wondered what would be best for their rooms. "Do you think it would be best to use Brian's method? That way they can continue to draw on the walls as they grow older and get into different things?" She asked thinking it may work better that way but wanted to see what he thought as well. "I know that we can always see if we can transfer them to paper if we wanted to keep any of them."

"Well that's good then for something like that, maybe since the boys will have a pirate ship to play in. Maybe we can create a castle for the girls to play in?" She smiled when he said they had a music box with a ballerina. "That's good that they have a music box for when they get scared of the storm. I understand about werewolves and being scared of them. I agree they shouldn't have to deal with them."

"It may be a crazy family I picked. If I had another chance to choose differently I wouldn't, I would still choose this one. I was so lucky when I met you all, especially you." She said with a smile and reached up to kiss his lips softly. "I wouldn't give this up for anything."

"Well, I've honestly not spent any time in here to speak of at night. Frankly, I'm normally either asleep or I'm getting up before daylight to start breakfast. But it certainly sounds peaceful, anyway.

"My thought is that we might think about Brian's spell simply because as the kids get older, then they're probably going to be annoyed with the scribbles that they put on the walls now. They're going to want to update them. Perhaps we ought to let the do that. Let them scribble away now, and then simply remove them later if they want to update.

"when you talked about the ballerinas, you gave me a weird thought. What if we design the girls' beds to look like theater boxes and design some of the floor to have the hardwood stage? We could let them do their dress up thing, be their own ballerinas and do their own dancing on a stage of their own. If we're going to let the boys be heros, let's let the girls be stars."

He returned her kiss and looked at her. "I'm glad you wouldn't change it. Might change the werewolves. Maybe." He grinned. "Maybe I'd just put them at a safer distance from you, but I still like the chase. At least for now."

"I get restless every now and then, I'm usually asleep at night though. It is peaceful maybe you can try it sometime and see what it's like." She said with a smile.

"Yeah that makes more sense since they'll probably want to do something a little more their style then." Bella said thinking about the children would want when they are older. "Yeah we'll do it Brian's way so that they can update them when they wish to without worry."

"That's a wonderful idea Angus. That would be perfect for the girls, we can get them some ballerina slippers that they can play in. Then make some tutu's for them to wear in various colors. I could make them and we can set up a small stage in one of the corners with I don't know. Maybe some nice drapes to make it seem like theater drapes you see."

She laughed softly, "I think anyone would change the werewolves." She smiled back at him. "There's always gonna be that one werewolf that's too close. Well for now I think your gonna have settle on chasing the two new additions to the house." She laughed softly at the thought. "I love you Angus."

"Maybe," Angus said, when she suggested he try to sit in the nursery for awhile. Angus was accustomed to being up in the dark. Either he was up early to work out and then fix breakfast, or, he was up even earlier to go 'hunting.' Regardless, he not generally used to thinking of night as a peaceful time. Night time meant he had a reason to be alert. He rather guessed if he went to sit in the nursery, he'd be still listening for trouble.

"I think your ideas for the bedrooms are great. I know the kid are going to love them. I've got a good budget for things for the house, so shopping won't be an issue. Even if I didn't, Brian is very generous. It still wouldn't be a problem."

He laughed as he talked about chasing Michael's boys around the house. "Oh, what's two more?" he laughed.

"I love you too," he said, "but if I don't make sure dinner gets on the table tonight, I could end up unemployed." He kissed her.

"Are we interrupting?" the guards asked, arriving with two partly assembled cribs.

Bella smiled and said, "Maybe when things slow down you'll be able to take a few minutes to sit with them and feel how peaceful it is." She smiled and looked around the nursery wondering what it would look like when it was done.

"Well I can't take all the credit you helped as well. You had very good ideas when it came to things. So we both had great ideas for the bedrooms. Ok, I'm a bargain shopper so I know where I can get the things we need without spending a fortune." She said remembering several stores that had almost everything they would need for the rooms.

She laughed and said, "Well we can see if we can baby sit two more kids." Her eyes twinkled in mischief and full of teasing.

"I'll see what I can find in ways of bedding for the cribs. Let me know if you need some help?" She said as she thought where they might keep those things. "First do you know where everything is for that?" She kissed him back and jumped when she heard the guards voices.

Her face went red slightly and shook her head, "No not at all." She said her face getting a little more red.
