Oh hi there

Kings cross station, ordinary muggles everywhere. Adela rolled her eyes as she passed by them. They were oblivious to the things that went on around them, she almost pitied them. With her nose rised slightly up in the air she swished past them gliding through the crowd. It wasn't like her to pitter around out with the muggles instead of heading straight to platform nine and three quarters but today she idled she took her time and she watched. Maybe she was watching the muggles to much, or at least more than she was watching where she was going because she ran her trolley right into the back of someone. "Why don't you watch where your stopping instead of doing so right in the middle of a bloody walk way?" She muttered angrily.

Vaughn had walked to the station with his brother, Michael, and a friend of the family who was helping their mom while Vaughn was gone for school. He wore his regular dark blue jeans and a white dress shirt. He couldn't help but wonder how everything was going to sort out when he left today. Their family friend left to get a trolley for his things leaving him and Michael standing there waiting. Michael stood next to him one of his arms curled around Vaughn's legs.

Next thing he knew he was being almost run over by trolley. His brother almost fell because of the impact it had on Vaughn. Hearing a girl's voice angrily asking why he stopped he turned around.

"As far as I remember I was standing here long before you were even close. Your the one who almost ran me and my brother over with your pushiness." He said looking at her wondering why she was mad at him. "I'm the one who should be angry not you. Your the one who nearly took me down because you weren't paying attention to what's in front of you." He tried not to laugh but his brother beat him to it.

Michael laughed causing Vaughn to look at him with wide eyes. Since their father had gotten sick Michael was rather quiet and closed off. He felt a pang of relief surge through him when he heard him laugh.

"Do it again. Vanny's face was funny." His brother said to the girl who nearly ran Vaughn over. He walked over to her with a huge grin on his face.

"Michael, I thought you were on my side buddy." Vaughn said trying not to smile. His lips twitched as he forced himself not to smile. Looking at the girl who was handling the trolley, "I'm Vaughn Hunter. That little traitor is my brother Michael. I'm sorry about what I said earlier, I should have never said that to you." He said with a small smile. His brother was laughing at Vaughn's description of himself being a traitor.

The younger boys laugh was annoying but the older boy now he was cute. "Oh I'm so terribly sorry," Adela smiled sweetly up at the older boy he seemed to be about the same age as here and oddly looked familiar she had to have seen him before. "I must have gotten distracted." her tone had completely changed from just a moment before.
She looked down at the younger boy, "It was quite funny wasn't it," Adela agreed, "kind of cute too."
“I’m Adelaide, by the way” She turned her attention back to Vaughn as she introduced herself, “But you can call me Adela.” She added with a wink.

Vaughn heard her voice turn sweet and shoved his hands into his pockets. "What if I may ask caused you to be distracted?" He said curious about the girl in front of him trying to figure her out. He was hiding the fact he found it funny how she went from angry to sweet so quickly.

He watched her tell his brother that it was funny and cute causing him to almost laugh at the interaction. Michael ran back over to Vaughn and promptly sat down on his trunk. He smiled at her when she winked, "It's nice to meet you Adela." He said smiling more at her. "So you ready to start the new school year?" He wanted to see what her answer would be.

“I was gawking at people on my way to the train.” Addie said blushing a little and pushing her hair out of her eyes. “So absorbed in themselves,” she added and watched as the younger boy run back over to his brother and sit on his trunk. “I guess, will be interesting to say the least.” She answered his question with a shy smile, playing an act as she flirted a little, “What about you?” She asked turning the you tuning the conversation over to him again, not wanting to talk about herself to much. That could revel to much about her and no one needed to know too much. They could expose her true self to her brother and that would put a damper on her plans for the future.

"Ah so you were ogling people as you passed by them?" Vaughn said with a mischievous grin when she blushed at her confession at staring at people. "Anyone interesting?" He continued to grin at her. "That is true for some people for it to be interesting at times. I'm not looking for to seeing to this school year if it's anything as last year." He rubbed the back of his neck as he saw their family's friend coming back over.

They loaded his trunk and things on the trolley but Michael and the man had to get back to their mother. "Be good for mum Michael. I'll see you at thanksgiving ok bub? Make sure you send me lots of letters." Vaughn said to his brother who hugged him then walked out with their family friend to leave for home.

Standing back up and looking over at Adela, "Wanna walk to the train?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes, I believe i have found someone very interesting," She smiled up at Vaughn and tilteder her head to the side as he spoke of not looking forward to school. "Hopfully i won't be if i have anything to do with it,"She said sweetly pushing the hair out of her face.

She watched as he told his brother good buy and it reminded Addie of her brother which made her smile even more. She remembered when Quincy left her for school the first time. It went about the same way as their farewell had gone. only there was no mention of a mother or a father out of either of them. just a be good.
