Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

She snorted. Why of all the students he ask her? He knows very well that she hates to answer questions. If she know the answers, people will think that she is a nerd and that will jeopardize her reputation at school.
She rolled her eyes and took a deep breath before she looked at the professor angrily.

"Of course they are not reasonable. But at the present time, no people, no wizards as well as all other beings are not rational." looked at him and then continued.
"An obvious example of that are students who dare to say that someone is evil or good, without thinking whether they are caught up with the consequences." she shrugged.

"Classification as such is not important, more important is the order. Wizards are, obviously, above other beings, and so they should behave. Many beings can not be trusted, they were unreliable, so how to decide who is worthy of trust and give him a better right? " ended her little monologue with question. When completed, sent the professor a look that said - do not you dare ask me anything more.

Malaika blinked rapidly. Was that girl threatening someone in front of the professor? A veiled threat, for sure, but a threat nonetheless.

But that thought was wiped from her mind when the girl started talking about granting people rights. Malaika had to force herself to breathe. There was nothing she could do. Not only was the other girl older and better at magic than she was, but taking up her wand in anger would be graceless.

On the other hand, knowledge had supreme value so it would be unworthy of Malaika not to enlighten Mia, right?

"I disagree," she spoke up, but then paused, trying to figure out how to go on without bringing her beliefs into the discussion.

"In ancient times, hubris was one of the biggest sins," she tried to make sense of her train of thought. "For example, presuming you're superior to other thinking species and can give them rights according to your own values and prejudices."

"Your lack of trust is what leads to things like the Werewolf Packs. They pack together because they fear you and their existence makes you fear them more. It's a vicious cycle. Whereas forgiveness and faith would lead to peace."
