Perhaps it was the abusive father or the fact that he hated being labeled as an arrogant pure blood. Still he lives in a mutual relationship with the family. They don't bother him, and he doesn't bother them.
Background: Ben is an emancipated teen and lives seperate from his family. He attends Hogwarts and is in his 7th year.
Short Roleplay: Ben shook his hair in a manner similar to that of a dog. He jammed his fedora back on his head. He just got fired from his latest job. It was time to go job hunting...again. Ben ordered a drink and flicked open the newspaper. He ran his finger down the job listings. Nothing caught his attention. He sighed loudly, perhaps he would have more luck tomorrow. A fresh start.
"No luck?" The waitress smiled, trying to strike a polite conversation.
"Obviously." Ben said shortly and downed the drink. "Whatever."
