He needs a watch. Scratch that, he needs to start wearing his watch instead leaving him beside his bed. Without one, he didn't know what's the time, but he knew it was getting late and that he needs to go home. His mother will wake up soon, and he wanted to be there when it happens because he didn't know how many time will pass until she wakes up again, if she wakes up again.
"Now when you mention that," Adrian folded his arms across his chest, „you need to go home.“ His voice was icy cold, he hoped that will help to make her go away. She seemed like a curious little creature and he didn't need her to follow him where he needed to go. That would blow up his identity, but more importantly, if his mother is up, and sees her near their house she'll marry them in her head, and he didn't want to explain Evangeline Blanchard that he isn't into pedophilia. She wouldn't listen him, anyways.
Blanchard looked at Sofija with eyebrows risen silently asking her why is she here, but than reminded himself he simply doesn't care. "Don't follow me." He threw the cigarette on the floor and extinguished it with his shoe, then pulled another one and lit it up. After blowing smoke in Sofija's direction, he turned on his heel and started walking. If he walks fastly, he'll make it til 1 AM.
