RIGHTO! I have had a think, and I've started an open thread for this idea. I'll need some help and want to open the plot to whomever is interested, though, so post here if you have questions, or just pop on over to the thread and it'll be fab.

The school year is drawing to a close, both for us and our characters, so I was thinking it would be rather lovely to have a party. So two of my students, Apollo and Christian Zabini, are hosting it and have inadvertently invited the entire school. Probably not the best plan, considering there will undoubtedly be alcohol and whatever else involved. But yes, anyone can go! Preferably, lots of people will go!

But what's the point in just having a "lovely party"? That's silly. SO, I'm thinking that it would be lots of fun to have students get into a fight. Whether that's alcohol-induced or not... well, I'm leaning towards not, but equally, that's up to you guys. If someone got hurt, professors would have to be called in. So far we know that Millie will stop in, but we're looking for someone who might be more serious and perhaps a bit more interested in disciplining the students who caused it. I can send in Declan if nobody has offered their professor by the time we get to that part of the thread, but I'd rather offer it up to someone else.

I think that I could get Apollo into a fight, but I also have Katherine, who could be accidentally injured if need be. Depends on who wants in on it. Basically, it would be a great laugh if the students refused to take responsibility for it happening, and it would turn into a bit mystery and almost like Clue (the game or the movie, if you're familiar with either. If not, it's just a mystery as to Who's done the bad thing). Lots of blaming each other and messes and yep.

I think it would be a bit of fun, and if nothing else, I guess I could just poke at people to see if they want to join, but I'd rather open it up to everyone So let me know here what role you want or just jump in and see how it goes

YES! I have suggestions.

If we could tempt Lily, she could easily go ballistic. A Lily x Apollo fight might be fun.

Or if we wanted real danger, it could be a full moon. I can make it so she doesn't make it out and transforms.

It really needs to be something that people can blame on each other. So the werewolf thing wouldn't work too well. I'm up for Lily vs. someone, though. I would almost rather have Kit caught in the crossfire because she's already ill, and it's likely that Eli's Victoire might get all huffy and upset about it, beyond even what the professors might do or say. If someone else wants to fight that's fine by me. But if not, I can easily get Apollo worked up.

I could offer up Desmond after I get him done and sorted. Someone could make a durogatory comment about him being a werewolf. That would certainly tick him off. Maybe someone even spiked his drink that way he didn't purposely get drunk. An inebriated Desmond is not a good one. Let me know what you think!

Well, I would say yes if we needed a werewolf to attack someone, but it's sort of what I was telling Jack. It needs to be something that they can blame on someone else. The goal is to both confuse the professors as well was anger the people they blame the incident on. It would work if it was someone besides Lily instigating it, since she's also a werewolf. I think she's a really good choice to do it, though. But, equally, if he felt like getting in on the fight, he could. Or he could be on Lily's side (if Jack says it's okay, of course), and he could try and pin it on someone else to keep her out of trouble.

Maybe, if Jack wants them to get on or if she's cool with your character lying for her, he *does* get a bit drunk. He would be less believable, but perhaps more likely to speak out? I think the point is for a couple students to get into a duel. We do have some rules, more or less, about how dueling works, such as how you can't godmod. The usual things. But I don't mind writing in Katherine getting hurt. And I'll probably use Declan as the other professor since Kit won't really have a role in it. If she's unconscious or just didn't see who got her, she wouldn't have any proof. Declan is incredibly serious, and Millie is sort of more concerned with making sure nobody was getting seriously hurt (according to Eli, of course). Once Kit gets injured, it would be pretty serious. And it would just be more worrisome when the students started bickering over who had done what because they didn't want Declan to assign them detention forever. XD

My characters would do it without the alcohol. I don't understand what's so important about alcohol, to be honest.

The implication wasn't that alcohol is required at all. I was saying it's an option if that fits his character. That's why Lily is probably going to be the instigator.
