Tests, exams, and homework! OH MY (Vaugh )

Dakota sat at the table in the study room. She was surrounded by books, parchment, quills, and ink wells. She was slightly overwhelmed by all the assignments she had been assigned lately. She was trying to get them all done on time and done well. She might be a Slytherin, but she still cared about getting good grades. She groaned and held her head as she felt a migrane starting to form. She didnt feel like using magic to cure a damn head ache. Sh rested her head on the cold table and hoped it would help a bit

Vaughn had been working on homework for the past five hours. He finally finished everything he needed for classes as he packed his bag up neatly. Sighing heavily and rubbing his eyes from the tiredness he felt. He hadn't slept well in a few night and it was starting to show on his face. His eyes had dark circles underneath them and his eyes looked tired. Getting up from the table he was seated he stretched out his arms and legs.

Vaughn felt like he had been hit by a ton of bricks then kicked underneath a bed. He grabbed his bag and started heading for the door when he looked over at another table. He saw Dakota sitting there with her head on the table. Her back was to him so he walked up to where she was sitting. He placed his bag carefully on the table before sitting in the chair next to her.

Placing a careful hand on her shoulder he said, "Dakota? Baby are you okay?" He was concerned something happened so he waited for her to respond to his question.

Dakota jumped at the placement of a hand on her shoulder. But then she heard the voice of her boyfriend. "Oh, hey baby. Im fine. Just cramming for exams and my head hurts. Overwhelmed with assignments."

She leaned against him and sighed. She enhaled his scent and felt a bit more relaxed as the calming scent did in fact calm her nerves. "What are you doing here baby?"

She carefully intertwined their fingers and looked up at him. She smiled softly and pressed her lips to his softly. "Ive missed you. Havent really seen you since the club, baby. You been avoiding me?" She giggled softly and ran her figners through his hair

"Sorry I didn't mean to startle you." Vaughn said as he slung one arm over the back of the chair. "I've been doing the same except I haven't been getting much sleep lately. I don't know what it is but something's keeping me awake."

When she leaned against him he put his arm around her shoulders and held her. "I'm studying and trying to catch up on my homework. It's the only quiet place I could find in the castle. Except now it's too quiet and I'm falling asleep. I've hit my head maybe three times on the table because I fell asleep."

When she intertwined their fingers he smiled and rubbed his thumb across the back of her hand. "I've missed you too baby. I haven't been avoiding you I've been stuck in the dorm room because of students here. I swear they need to get a life and keep their nose out of ours. Don't let it bother you though they are just stupid kids and they are not anyone important." He kissed softly on the lips before looking at her with a serious look. "I mean it don't let them bring you down if they try to say something to you."

Dakota wrinkled her nose at the thought of Vaughn not getting any sleep. "I havent been able to sleep much either. Slytherins party way to hard. WHy they are partying when we have so much work to is beyond me." She smiled as he held her and kissed his neck softly.

She frowned when he said he had hit his head and got up to kiss his forehead, "There. All better." She giggled and smiled softly up at him. "Im glad Im with you now at least. In my time of a much needed study break."

When he mentioned a bunch of students giving him a hard time it made her mad, "Are they giving you a hard time because you are dating me?" She didnt want to be the reason he couldnt leave his own dorm room.

She kissed him back half heartedly and sighed softly, "They shouldnt be giving you a hard time. No one has really said anything to me about dating you,mainly because they are afraid of me. But still. Who is giving you a hard time, baby? I will handle it."

She didnt play games when it came to Vaughn, and she was not ok with people giving him a hard time about their dating. She sighed and kissed him a bit harder than she did before and sighed, "I love you, baby."

Vaughn smiled softly and said, "It's just how Slytherins are I suppose. They may study but feel the best way to release stress is to have some fun." He nuzzled into her neck when she kissed his, breathing in her scent. 

He smiled when she kissed his head to make it feel better "Well i'm glad I can give you a study break for a while. That's of course if i don't fall asleep first." 

"No they are giving me a hard time because they are curious about what it's like dating a Slytherin. Then there's the ones who are asking personal questions about our relationship. Some of the questions are horrible, they think that we've slept together and everything. Honestly it's not even worth talking about it. They are stupid kids and they are just too dang nosy." Vaughn said leaning back into his chair which felt cozy to him. 

"It will be fine Dakota don't let it get to you. I'm not concerned about it at all and I'm happy just being with you." He said looking at her honestly. "There's no reason to let it get to you, just let it roll off your back like water. They'll find something else to occupy their time with soon." 

Feeling her kiss which was a bit harder than before, he slid his hand to cup the side of her face. "I love you too Dakota. Don't think about theose kids they have no place in our life." He kissed her lips again soft and sweet.

"Well their need to party might affect my grades which will affect my future. And I am not ok with that." She pouted adorably and crossed her arms as her bottom lip stuck out.

She smiled and played with his hair as he nuzzled into her neck, "How did I get so lucky to have someone like you in my life?" She smiled against his skin and kissed it softly. "If you need to sleep you can use me as a pillow." She smiled and patted her lap for him to rest his head on if he needed to.

"They should mind their own damn business, Vaughn. Next time they mess with you, tell them to go stick their head in a Basilisk." She growled softly and her eyes turned a dark brown, almost red color. She hated people that tried to get into other peoples relationships. Relationships are between two people. Some people just dont know how to count. "Well we obviously havent slept together. Im only 14 after all." She giggled and played with his hair some more.

She sighed and nodded when he asked her to just let it go, "Fine. Ill let it go. But the minute they come up to me with questions like that is the minute we start dating long distance. Because I will be locked up in Azkaban for killing someone." She kissed him back and smiled softly

"I'm sorry sweetie." Vaughn said softly kissing her lips grinning.

"Your lucky because I got lucky to have you in my life as well." Vaughn said as he leaned back after she kissed his skin. "I'll be fine, I'll try to catch some sleep later." He smiled at her softly.

"Stick their head in a basilisk? Never thought of that one. I usually just make them have hair grow from everywhere and walk away." Vaughn said grinning from ear to ear as he looked at what she was doing for her homework. "I know that but they think that because we kiss and touch all the time that we have done something." He closed his eyes when she played with his hair.

"Well that's why they're coming up to me, I'm a Gryffindor and not a scary Slytherin girl." He said teasingly to her as he looked around them. "It seems really empty in here especially since finals are soon."

Dakota smirked and kissed him back, "Its fine. People just annoy the living hell out of me sometimes." She smiled when he said he was the lucky one, "Yeah, I guess you are pretty damn lucky to get to see me every day. Not everyone gets to do that." She laughed as he mentioned a quick growing hair spell and smiled evily, "I might have to use that on my cousin. Shes in your house. Melissa Hastings. Do you know her?" She smiled innocently and giggled softly. "If I want to kiss my boyfriend I will. For example." She kissed his face and lips multiple times and nuzzled into him, "It is pretty empty."
