Skin:caucasian, with a large scar from his youth on his back.
General Appearance:Michael is, generally, a casual dresser. He most often wears casual slacks and shirts or sweaters. He often reminds muggles more of a writer or a college professor type than anything else. He exercises daily and keeps himself in good shape. He is typically very healthy and very flexible and agile for his age. He strikes an impressive figure when he does dress to impress, but he does that rarely, and is always very deliberate about his clothing choices. He vacilates back and forth between being clean shaven with his hair cut short, or letting his hair grow long, along with growing a mustache and a beard. He chooses that more on whim than anything else. Sometimes he can be found with a vintage Mershon pipe in his teeth.

Motto:One travels more usefully when alone, because he reflects more.
General Personality: Michael likes living alone. He does not like attachments. Emotional attachments are things that make him insecure. He likes people, but he just doesn't want to ever give his whole heart to someone. That is beyond him. He is somewhat outgoing, but prefers an evening of collegues than a noisy night in a pub.
Patronus:Mongoose
He likes to live quietly, he likes shopping farm markets, buying fresh produce, and then doing gourmet cooking at home, followed by a good book and a pipe by the fire, with a glass of firewhiskey.
When he has to be, he is a formidible foe. He is a former catburglar, a skill from his youth, and he still does it exceptionally well. He lives well, mainly from decades of stolen gain, including an amassed amount of wealth that he managed to procure. He can defend himself in a duel if he has to, but he doesn't go looking for trouble.
H I S T O R YFamily Information: Nathan Tremaine--deceased
Beatrice Tremain--deceased
John--younger brother--lives somewhere in Asia. Michael has not spoken to him for 20 years after a terrible fight immediately following the funeral of their mother. John is 9 years younger than Michael.
Childhood:Michael was the oldest of the Tremain's two sons. He was forced to be responsible early on when his father was injured permanently in a duel when Michael was 11. Michael started to learn to pick pockets in order to help his mother and then toddler aged brother to survive. Over the years, he met other more skilled burglars and theives who taught him more sophisticated skills.
Hogwarts: Despite his thievery, Michael really does have the heart of a Gryffindor. He learned as a child that he had to steal to live, and in his mind that justified it. He learned to hate the dark arts since it had been a dark wizard who had disabled his father and sent his family into ruin. Michael excelled at Hogwarts, getting exceptional grades. He had wanted to join the quidditch team but didn't have the time. When he wasn't studying, he was busy slipping off into Hogsmeade or the surrounding area to rob cash to send to his mother. He still resents the fact that he did not get to have much fun in his childhood. Strangely enough, he made a great many friends from, mostly, his housemates, who found he was always a fierce friend, and he keeps many of those friends still.
Adulthood: When Michael graduated Hogwarts, he travelled the world, working as a catburglar for hire. He has kept up on muggle technology and on his skills, even though he hopes he doesn't have to use those things ever again. When his mother died, his brother and Michael got into a huge fight, and it ended with his brother attempting to kill him from behind with a sectumsempra spell. Michael carries a large scar on his back from the incident and has never spoken to his brother again. The wound was healed, in a rather botched fashion from a wizard who miscast the spell and left Michael with a permanent scar that twinges from time to time.
Michael stopped actively stealing and resigned himself to a quiet country life in Hogsmeade. He is hoping to reacquaint himself with his friends and simply live in peace and in relative comfort.
Short Roleplay: Nah. Done it before *Michael retreats off home for a book and a smoke*
