Along with new week at school came new obligations in the library. Thought Sebastien O'Sullivan applied for this job because of a selfish reason and not because he loved children; he started liking this job. At first he did his duty reluctantly, wondering when he could continue with his exploration, but as time had passed he wasn't annoyed with it as he used to be before. Of course, finding a way to heal the lycanthropy was still the first thing on his mind, but he wasn't too obsessed with that anymore; that doesn't mean he stopped searching or that he forgot the reason why he joined the Hogwarts' staff, that only meant he now did both, his work and his researching.
The library wasn't full these days, he guessed it's because the exams won't start just yet. After they start it would probably be so full he won't be able to walk normally. It's needles to say Sebastien wanted for exams to begin as late as possible. Hopefully today wasn't a lot of students in here, just a few of them reading and few of them wandering around, till they were all quiet and while they do not destroy books he could stand them. Well, mostly he pretend they weren't there so he could fill the papers in peace. He still walked around every half an hour just to check if everything was going well.
"Morning." He leaned back in his chair and looked up for the girl in front of him. She was Ravenclaw, a young one; she must be on her first year at Hogwarts, second at most. Seeing her remind him of his daughter, thought they had no physical similarity, Barbara, thankfully inherited her mother's look more than his own, not that he met her yet. He sort of loved her mother, at least he was with here when he still believed in love, so after she told him in her will he could met Barbara at her holidays he decided he could respect her wish, it was the smallest thing he could do for the woman he loved.
These thoughts made him sour, not that he needed a reason for being sour anyway. After a sight he glanced at the student again and raised up. "Which books exactly?" Bastien decided he'll find them by himself rather than just telling her where they were. He needed something to occupy his thoughts, and mechanical actions did that quite well.
He bypassed table counting his steps; maybe it was childish but that kept him occupied, so he couldn't think of his daughter. The truth was – Sebastien O'Sulliven never wanted to become a dad.
