Keiran had gone out to St. Mungo's again that morning, grateful all over again for Khaat's willingness to help him take away the pain that the curse in his leg caused on a regular basis. In truth, it was working better as time went on, considering that every fix seemed to make the new round of pain a bit less. So it was one of the mornings when Keiran didn't have to use his cane to get around, and it was almost strange how used to using the cane he actually was. It felt odd, sometimes, to be without it. Not that he was complaining, of course.
After getting back to the grounds, he had gone to check on his babies, saying hello to Baldric, who was watching them with Ben. Then, his feet had carried him to the office on the sixth floor where most of his work was being done. He had to attend to the dragon situation in the afternoon, but until then he could catch up on what was happening at the Ministry.
That is, he would have done so were it not for the knock at his door, making him lift his head in slight surprise. He hadn't expected anyone, but he supposed it could have been Melissa or Theodore coming to see him. Pushing his chair back, Keiran stood and made his way across the surprisingly large office (considering he was only the Deputy Headmaster) to pull the door open. He was shocked to find Sebastien standing there, but he did his best to hide the fact.
"Hi, Sebastien," he greeted, trying to keep his tone light. "Come on in."
Pushing one hand into his pocket, he let the librarian enter before closing the door and stuffing the second hand into his other pocket. Passing back over to his desk, he waited until Sebastien sat in one of the chairs before leaning against the front of his desk, facing the other man. "What can I do for you?"
