Jonathan fell silent for a moment, losing himself in his thoughts. He hadn't known Sierra cared so deeply for him, but they had only been dating for a couple of months now. Still, he was her first boyfriend-- at least he assumed so since it was the case vice versa. He appreciated her gigantic amount of love for him, but to go as far as calling him her life... He didn't know what to think of that or why it somehow troubled him. No one had ever cared so deeply for him in such away, not even his own parents. His eyes shifted down towards the wooden counter, hazed with doubt and confusion. He shouldn't be thinking so poorly of such an affectionate declaration... Yet the lad couldn't help but allow it settle in his mind. Surely there's more to your life than me... I'm not all that grand.
Jonathan blinked, shaking the thoughts away for now then gave her hand a soft squeeze. He planted a warm kiss upon her cheek before standing up suddenly. "Thank you. I deeply appreciated it," he said with the sincerest of tones. "I'm afraid I have to get back to work though. I'll catch up with you later, alright dear?"
